The place was Clean. The office was crowded. -Expect that, on an early afternoon, mid-week. The doctor was polite, patient & kind, also funny. The nurse, Erica, was very kind, careful & patient. She treated my grandma Gently. There was a lady with long locs & pretty lashes, in the front office. She was Very Nice, and handled the crowded waiting room, Well.
My first (and only) consultation with him was among the worst experiences I've had with a medical provider. He showed no bedside manner, frequently talked over me/interrupted me mid-sentence, and didn't allow me to fully explain my symptoms. He came across as dismissive and condescending, as though he were simply going through the motions rather than genuinely listening or caring for his patient. It felt like the kind of interaction where a patient has to fight just to receive the most basic level of care -- being heard and treated with respect. I scheduled this appointment out of desperation because Dr. Reiss had a last-minute opening, and I didn't want to wait a month for another provider. Unfortunately, I regret that decision. I sincerely hope Dr. Reiss reflects on why he went into medicine and reassesses his approach to patient care, especially when working with new patients seeking diagnostic support.
Reiss is one of the most incredible Doctors that I have ever had. His bedside manner is warm and comforting. I will miss being in his care. Sadly I have recently moved and I can only hope that my new local cardiologist will measure up to his standards? I will certainly miss him!
Dr. Reiss is very rude and lack sympathy for his patients. He's very nonchalant when you mention your concerns.
Wow! Doesn't even deserve a star! Horrible bedside manor. Had no interest in my fathers previous history, strokes nor the medications he's taking currently! Very rude Physician!!! Stated He wasn't the one who prescribed his meds. Ask the physician who did why he's taking them?!? All he said was my father is perfect. BIG WASTE OF OUR TIME AND MONEY!!!
