Dr. Fernandez performed cabg surgery (triple bypass) 11/15/2024 on me. He and his team did a fantastic job. I can't say enough about them. Thank you so much for giving a new life. I feel great and highly recommend Dr. Fernandez for any and all of your cardio problems.

From the office staff to the doctors I can't say enough about them. They were all very friendly, professional and informative on what would be doing and answered any and all questions I had.

First, let me say Dr Fernandez saved my husband's life. He, Austin (the PA who assisted), the anesthesiologist, and the vast majority of the RNs (related to NFMC, Gainesville) were attentive and caring. The issue comes in when you have a problem after discharge. I have had to deal with 2 female PAs who are the most uncaring, condescending I've ever dealt with. My husband was and still is suffering from an issue related to hospital care that is hampering his cardiac recovery. They minimized and even laughed about it. They offered no real help and you could tell they didn't want to be bothered from the sheer attitude to slamming down the phone. If you are fortunate to be released with no issues except the cardiac recovery, great. If not, be forewarned this may not be the place.

I am truly greatful for Dr Fernandez and his team; they were all very attentive did above and beyond for my husband Burtt Lubin. I would definitely recommend this team to any person that is having to under go heart surgery. My husband had no complications and is doing Great. Thank you all so much again.

Dr. Fernandez did open heart surgery on me in October. He is a great cardiovascular surgeon. Maybe even the best!!!!!
