Please Please Please do you research before taking the decision to come there. Inform yourself!!! This doctor and his firm is all about the money and quantity. People are even standing wating to go in and see him. Over booked and every 15 minutes he is seeing a patient. You are just a case file for him. Forgets his medical code of ethics. I am not a big fan in writing reviews but this time it had to get done. I took my mother and I was appauled the way he runs that practice.

Just a quick note before I review Dr Rao and the stress lab at this facility. I do not take these reviews seriously and so glad I don't. I was referred to Dr Rao and his practice after spending 30 hours in Lawnwood emergency room. I was nervous as the ER told me I'd had a heart attack. I had very mild chest pain and mostly shortness of breath. That's it! No common side effects like you hear about. Dr Rao was extremely concerned that I wasn't told at the hospital what they suspected and why I wasn't seen by a cardiologist at the hospital. Anyway, I was given an appointment within a few days which did help my stress level. He was very informative and wanted to make certain I got in to the stress lab quickly. Stress test and echocardiogram planned quickly. Now will be seeing Dr Rao next week. At this point I'm very impressed with Dr. Rao and his associates. My suggestion to others who may be going to the doctor, don't expect them to sit and chitchat with you about general topics. They have gone through years of training for what they do and They have a huge responsibility to care for the patients they see. I don't choose the doctor based on their personality. I've noticed that people think they know more about what their condition is than the doctor! The doctor also has the conditions of so many patients on his mind. He/She can't leave the office and not have the patient on his mind and thinking about the treatment plan for said patient. These doctors go through years of grueling work and stress and often times don't have any time for their family time and often times any relationship will suffer. Please be very mindful of these things before making a judgment call on why you've decided to dislike or ridicule these very hard working men and women.

Cardiologist Rao looks and sounds overwhelmed. Very short with you and easily irritated. Would not recommend him if you have some serious medical issues. His front window receptionist is very rude and does not know how to interact with the patients. He is not much better. No go.

My wife was at the office today. From the moment she walked in, the unforgettable bad started. First, the front desk had their window closed and though they could be seen it took forever for them to open as we stared at each other. 2nd, my wife was there to get a holster, not her first, they didn't ask if she was allergic and needed hypoallergenic materials. 3rd, on her way out the door she was asked loudly if she had a deductible payment to take care of to which she replied that no one had appraised her of that, then the aide proceeded to tell her that she needed to pay. I think that would be something you tell to the patient when they walk in, not after the fact. The casual and unprofessional way my wife was treated is not what you would expect from a professional setting that wants to remain open. The staff present during this visit could stand to be retrained and we are considering not coming back because of the bad experience. By the way, on her prior appointment, she got a call from the office letting her know that she was economically responsible for missing the appointment that she had been to. Staff has got to go.

Horrible "doctor" "cardiologist" . Shouldn't be allowed to work. Doesn't care about patients. While in the hospital for open heart surgery, overheard half a dozen nurses standing less than 5ft away talk about how careless he is especially when it comes to prescribing medications and giving medications that counteract and can be fatal. To me, he was rude and inconsiderate. Once he found out I had no insurance he walked away and never saw him again the 3 weeks in lawnwood. Pathetic
