HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital

I recently went to vero emergency center with very high blood pressure and a chest pain. They immediately took me in and started figuring out what the symptoms ment.They kept me updated about what was going on until they decided I wasn't having an heart attack and didn't think the pain was related . We decided to go to Lawnwood for further testing and then transported me there.lawnwood used the check in info from vero so they just wheeled me up to the room.within 1/2 hour I was being monitored and was seeing the evaluation team and the person in charge of the floor ( hospitalist?), very fast and efficient!, I felt well taken care of.the next morning my doctors visited me and before noon I had 2 of the 3 major tests done .my nurses were excellent ! Maddy, Madison,Asia,clilasani.minora. Tiffany. We're very helpful keeping me comfortable!I interacted with Maddy the most and she is my pick for Hero!, I ended up not having a serious emergency problem and absolutely recommend the hospital to anyone.

I had to be transported here from Orlando Health Melbourne Hospital due to an emergency and the specialist needed is here at this facility. I got in at the ER from the ambulance and immediately was greeted by the lovely Rachel who was kind and I loved her hair! She put me in ER Room 2 which had a bathroom and wow was that helpful for sure. My nurse was Vanessa and she was awesome she was definitely the best part of the ER. Doctors Patel and Velazquez (spelling?) were also really helpful and in an up beat spirit both times I saw them. They were very attentive asked many great detailed questions and made sure I was super comfortable before being moved upstairs in the hospital once they had a room for me. When room was ready a very nice and responsive John came to transport me upstairs. Really enjoyed meeting him and the ride up was smooth. I was sent to 425B and have the lovely Lonise, she's been so awesome this morning and really I could ask for no better service than she provided. Lonise went just above and beyond to make me feel better on the very first night and came and checked on me next night and asked me how I was doing even though she wasn't the assigned nurse anymore... that is how awesome the staff is here. Once Lonise shift was over I had the amazing and very intelligent & funny Francois, and the kind hearted Shellanda who were amazing as well. It's been non-stop top notch service from everyone. All the doctors also I saw up here on 4th floor (sorry too many names and doctors couldn't remember all the names) were also awesome. All in all it's been a good experience considering you're in hospital. Also the lead nurse was very nice too, Sandra, I did enjoy her company as well. Jerry the manager of the housekeeping also was truly awesome. I had to stay a few nights and on my second to last night I also had Reese and Angel and wow the high level of service just continues. They really focus on a positive, good, healing environment for patients and you can tell it's a healing facility. Lastly, I'd like to thank Dr. Seeger the Urologist here who was also very helpful and funny haha. Made me laugh during our consultation more than a few times and just matched everyone's high positive spirits and energy from HCA staff. On my second to last day here I had the lovely Morgan and Blanca and wow were they both just sweethearts as well. Morgan and Blanca have both been very attentive and any time I had pushed the call button I had someone in room by 60 seconds on average which to me has to be some hospital record. I ended up having to stay an entire day longer than anticipated an I had the wonderful Angel again and man this guy lives up to the name wow. Kind, soothing voice, and he is constantly getting you what you want and he also spends the time needed with you instead of like in other hospitals you see nurses rush rush rush with their patients. At night with Angel I also had Staina and the team was amazing. Staina made sure to be extra gentle since I had just had an operation & both her and Angel were attentive and there for me throughout the entire night up until the minute their shifts were done... but they both checked on me one last time even though they didn't have to. On my last day I had lovely Morgan again and Itzel who once again was just top notch. No one here has disappointed me one bit. Thank you! Everyone here at HCA have just been amazing! Thanks for healing me fast and for doing everything you can to make me feel better! If I lived in Fort Pierce this would be a hospital I'd go to in a time when you need to go. On behalf of my father and our family, I want to express our deepest gratitude to the entire team at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital. My father was admitted with severe, uncontrolled hypertension, and from the moment he arrived, the level of care, professionalism, and attention he received was truly exceptional. The doctors, nurses, and support staff treated him with urgency, compassion, and respect, ensuring that he was closely monitored and safely stabilized. The medical team took the time to explain his condition, adjust his medications carefully, and continuously observe him to prevent complications. As a family member, it gave me immense peace of mind to see how attentive and knowledgeable the staff were, especially during a very stressful and frightening time. Every nurse we encountered was patient, kind, and reassuring. Special recognition to Nurse Kim and Nurse Regina, who were truly exceptional. Their compassion, attentiveness, and professionalism made a very stressful situation so much easier for my father and our family. The physicians were thorough, responsive, and clearly committed to my father's well-being. We never felt rushed or ignored -- only supported. Thanks to the care he received at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, my father is now in a much safer and more stable condition. We are extremely grateful and would not hesitate to recommend this hospital to anyone in need of serious medical care. Thank you for your dedication, compassion, and excellence.

My son was transferred from Sebastian hospital to Longwood and I could not be more happier they did. The Longwood team from the emergency room to the pediatric care team took care of my son as if he was one of their own. My wife and I experienced a level of service excellence I've never seen in the area of Indian River County. Longwood hospital is my new hospital for me and my family, no matter that it's 45 minutes away. I would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and the restorative CNAs who helped and I don't want to forgot the kitchen staff who offered a good bite to eat. Everyone was very caring and friendly to us and I won't forget that. Thank you Longwood Hospital.

Delivered back in August 2025, unfortunately had a stay of a week baby decided he wanted to come early. Had Kristen as one of my delivery nurses and she was AWESOME we loved her, she really does make your delivery experience incredible! She made my stay not feel so bad she was very attentive, caring and so loving! And can't forget about the nicu nurses they are all amazing!
