I don't know how he does it but Dr. Grohowski has a way of making me feel like I'm his only patient. He is kind, compassionate and caring. He spends the time necessary in explaining things to me so that I can understand everything that is going on and what I can expect with upcoming tests. I feel so fortunate to have found him and I know I'm in the BEST hands with him.
If anyone is looking for an outstanding Cardiologist in the Fort Myers area, look no further than Dr. Growhowski. He is an outstanding cardiologist. He is located at Millenium Physician's Group on Metro in FM. He takes his time with every patient and explains everything thoroughly. He is always happy to answer any questions a person may have. He has a remarkable "bedside" manner. I have been going to him for 4 years now, and have not had any complaints whatsoever. His staff is also very pleasant and friendly.
Dr. Grohowski is very personable. However, he told my husband that his aortic valve went from moderate to severe, which wasn't correct, according to the doctor that did protesting. Because he was in good condition health wise for a 79 year old, he decided to go through with the valve replacement. Things went wrong with the surgery, was readmitted to the hospital twice after. He saw Grohowski after each discharge, body filling up with fluid, on oxygen & using a wheelchair. Complexion was getting gray, but he kept telling us that the echo said everything was working correctly. Doctors in St. Francis hospital in NY said he was a dead man walking. Valve was embedded into original valve & leaning on mitral valve causing fluid to build up in his body. Dr. Grohowski just depended on the echo instead of his own eyes.
This cardiology practice is just great. Pam is excellent and very responsive. Dr Grohowski is very knowledgeable but equally important is his attention to his patients. He listens. He understands. He cares! Glad I found this group!
Dr Grohowski gave the absolute best patient care. He explained his findings to my understanding, asked questions, and gave an open floor for me and my husband to ask questions. When needed, his care is where I want to be.
