Cardiology | Richard Chazal, MD

Dr. Chazal is a wonderful cardiologist and one of the few that understands my husbands couplet and triplet heart beats as normal (for him) without medicating. But calling just today 10/29/19, I'm told his patients are being referred to others in the group and Dr. Chazal is doing admin. duties. This just seems like a huge waste of talent or a smoke screen. What is going on? Dr. Chazal shouldn't be a paper pusher.

He is a very capable Doctor and does detailed examinations. But he does not care about his patients. It's impossible to reach him or his Assistant, Denise, when a problem arises. And contacting the covering Doctor in an attempt to reach Dr. Chazel does no good at all. A heart catheterization was recommended after an echo stress test was ordered by Dr. Chazel. He would not discuss results with me even though I tried to reach him over a one month period of time. Nothing gets resolved. The entire staff has a hostile attitude starting with the Secratary and ending with the Office Manager.

My husband has gone to Dr. Chazel for years. He is very very smart, meticulous and up to date on everything related to the heart and health in general. I'm not giving him undue praises, I've gone with my husband and engage in many questions over the years. That said, he always welcomed the dialogue and proved to have very insightful answers. This is a good doctor for people who wish to participate in their own health. I've learned a great deal from him. I'll be going to him soon as well now as both our oarents had health issues so precautions to stay healthy, make corrections and be tested for potential issues is nessassary. We are lucky to have found him.

I have use this doctor since 2009. He is wonderful.
