I don't think I've ever had such a poor experience with a doctor. My mom was admitted into the ER with what they said was heart failure, pneumonia and sepsis. When she arrived at ICU, I asked for only the cardiologist to see and work with my mother she is 85 years old, and that is what we requested. Residents, Both first, Second and third year were all that walked into the room. When I asked the nurse and the residents To send me in the cardiologist, I wanted to talk to him, an hour later he walks in said I'm Dr Zachariah. I understand you wanted to meet me. You've met my team and turned around and walked out of the room, with not so much as even giving my mother the time of day or answering any questions that I may have had. Just say the car was wonderful not a chance. When we got there, everyone told us it was heart failure, before we walked out of the ICU they said it was not heart failure. I never once got an answer from Dr. Zachariah. I never saw him again. The discharge papers from this Said it was heart failure, however, all the reports and orders from the hospital to home health were for pneumonia and sepsis

This is my first time going to a cardiologist and I was a bit nervous my GP referred me to this Doctor and I can tell you I got the best treatment and he spoke to me as a person not a number and he caught some things that we are working on to get me back going again .a true professional thank you Dr.Z

Dr Zachariah P. Zachariah is the best cardiologist I have ever experienced! He takes time to listen and review reports and patient history. He is kind and thorough. I had a serious problem and he suggested a surgery method I'd never heard performed by his colleague at UM Hospital and my recovery is much easier than it would have been otherwise. His staff is fabulous from reception to nursing and medical assistants. I know numerous people in the area who feel like I do. Dr. Z.P. Zachariah is the best!

Dr Zachariah is an exceptional Dr with an Exceptional staff. He has been providing me care for many years. I trust him with all my health conditions and well-being. Best cardiologist in Florida. Thank you for all the knowledge and care you provide with each appointment

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I went to see this dr after being referred due to having heart issues postpartum, and dealing with lingering postpartum preclampcia. He yelled at me my whole office visit that I was on blood pressure meds while nursing my baby and told me he couldn't treat me unless I told him I'd never get pregnant again. He offered no solution or real help for me whatsoever. The office ordered an echo on 10/9/23 and when they called me to schedule it I asked for it to be withdrawn I am under the care of a new cardiologist. Here I am over a month later (11/15/23) and the echo order still hasn't been withdrawn. I spoke to Anjura in the office who lied to me and said my insurance doesn't require authorization and she'd get back to me by the end of the week. I called my insurance and they told me that was a lie, when I called back for help she was rude to me. I would NEVER recommend such an unprofessional practice to anyone I know. Dealing with heart issues is scary especially while needing your health to take care of your new baby. This office has no compassion, or care and it's very sad
