This hospital is truly a blessing. I am so impressed by their services that I know I won't be able to contain it in one review. So this will be one of several. Imagine waking up in the middle of the night coughing so hard your head starts pounding and clutching your chest because it hurts. These were the conditions under which I was forced to go to the hospital, worried that I had some sort of pulmonary problems. I chose Holy Cross Hospital because my son recommended it. I had been to another hospital around 2 years earlier with the same symptoms and after being kept for 3 days, they sent me home with a diagnosis of migraines and 4 medications whose interactions were scarier than the pain . From the moment I walked into this hospital I was at ease . I was met by a tall, muscular security guard. He was very courteous as he sent me to a sweet, polite young lady who took down my information. The wait to be seen by triage was less than 5 minutes. They immediately took stock of my situation and responded very professionally. Within a matter of hours, they drew blood and ordered a series out of tests. They then decided I needed to be admitted for observation. I was taken to a spacious, comfortable room on the 5th floor where the personal touch continued... Okay here is part 2.. I want to thank this dedicated group of people. I wish I could remember all your names... Maxwell D.RN-drew first blood painlessly I might add. Gregory Schneider MD Jeremy ???? I am only one person, yet at this hospital, all these people and many more worked together for me!! They tested, observed, diagnosed, surgically treated, and released me within 5 days. Amazing, simply amazing. Where would you want your loved ones to go? Thanks son

I found excellent care at Holy Cross. The clinic on Federal Highway which provides MRIs, ultrasound, urgent, care, etc. was clean and pleasant. Most importantly, the staff were professional and kind. I would like to recognize Tatum at the front desk who, with a warm greeting was efficient and helpful. Ann performed my ultrasound and was extremely thorough and very informative. Joel, performed the MRI, he answered my questions and put me at ease prior to the brain scan... Thank you team !

I've come to Holy Cross for most of my ER visits, and every experience reminds me why I trust this hospital. During my most recent stay, the nurses, doctors, and general surgeon were all outstanding -- they made sure I received the care I needed promptly and with genuine compassion. The hospital was clean, organized, and attentive, and I felt truly cared for from start to finish. I'm grateful for their kindness and professionalism each time I've needed their help.

The ER Dr. Cohen was wonderful as all er staff was that attended to me. Johan the nurse on 5 West Observation floor I was admitted was one of the best nurses have ever had if not the best. Now as for Kerrie the charge nurse of the floor she has no compassion for patients and talks down to them with no respect. I would be ashamed to have an employee like this representing your hospital let alone a charge nurse. She should be a custodian or far more just out the door.

Horrible service, doctor discharged my father with out conversing with him it was mentioned that he wanted to go on Friday trying to make arrangements but was not successful because the medical team didn't want to discuss it then but on Monday never saw the doctors who said they will discuss with the medical team of assessments Monday morning and come back and never did. The Case Manager that came in was not true as to what she said saying that she is here to help with a swift transition and help my dad the patient with whatever help is needed and she lied. Dr Hernandez one we have never seen shows up and said that my dad was discharged and he won't be getting any drip or medication and the medication was sent to the pharmacy of his choice and if my dad need the medicine we the family can go pick it up and bring it back to the hospital (really that never should have been said). Another Dr apart of the GI team said my dad isn't going to make it so you guys will have to leave today. Got numerous of calls wanting to push my Dad in Hospice and he stated he didn't want to go there. The room was filthy and nasty stuff on the floor from previous patient in room. The electrical outlet need to be fixed it was busted. As a Catholic Hospital and a Roman Catholic raised in a Catholic School, raised with cousins that are nuns and priest I truly would have not expected this horrible, disgusting treatment. This surely is not the mission and values of Holy Cross. This truly is not the way any human in a hospital should be treated insurance or not. There were a few people that went over backwards and helped and I can count them on 1 hand and believe it or not they were not apart of the medical team they were apart of the financial department. Training is important and Customer service is extremely important. People care about there loved ones thats why they entrust the care of medical professionals.
