Five-Star Care at Broward Health Medical Center My stay at Broward Health Medical Center was nothing short of extraordinary. I was admitted through the Emergency Room, and from the very first moment, the good vibes started--and they never stopped. What began as an emergency ultimately led to my gallbladder removal, and at every step of that journey, I felt supported, informed, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Zeeshan Chaughtai is everything you hope for in a physician--kind, caring, personable, respectful, and genuinely present. In one word: a mensch. I felt listened to, respected, and completely confident in his care. The surgical team was outstanding--professional, reassuring, and compassionate. They put me at ease during what could have been a stressful experience and handled everything with calm confidence and precision. The nurses, support personnel, and staff were equally incredible. While I may not remember every name, I want to personally thank Nicole, Ive, Barbara, Raquel, Caroline, Kristy (with a K!), and everyone else who showed me such compassion and professionalism. (Sorry for not remembering but you are all in my heart). This job is not easy, yet each of you does it with so much love, patience, and humanity--and it shows. Because of all of you, I truly felt like a VIP at a five-star hotel, not a patient in a hospital. My deepest thanks and gratitude to every single person involved in my care--from the ER to surgery to recovery. You make a real difference in people's lives, and I will never forget the care I received here. Sending hugs to everyone--and I hope I don't see you again too soon (said with love).

I must start off with how amazing the staff is from the ER to the eighth floor and everyone in between. Special thanks to the resident doctors, the nursing students and last but not least the staff from acute Peds Tia, Joe, Luckson, Jarred, Murdock and Brenna just to name a few. Every nurse on the 8th floor made us feel at home regardless of the patients health. The sedation team was awesome as well Tamara and staff did an awesome job explaining what's going to happen and they will call me when the procedure is completed. Room service those ladies made sure the room and bathroom stayed cleaned and whatever I needed the made sure I received it. Food service forgot to feed me one day but all of them were nice as well. Overall BGMC didn't fail me and I trusted every decision that was made but the doctors on duty.

Positive ER visit. Well managed hospital. Very thankful to support, nursing and physician staff. Certain practices, such as a wait for up to 24 hours (even weekday) for specialist to arrive to address a specific concern is an opportunity for improvement. Specialist should provide at least some feedback on treatment plan specific to localized infection and patient should not rely on general plan for 12+ hours when its an emergency. Zeeshan Chaughtai MD in internal medicine took great personal care and went above and beyond to address my needs. Thank you, Dr. Chaughtai.

Came to the hospital with a lung infection and had a great experience with the treatment I received. Celeste in the ER was amazing. I stayed in 6th North floor. Nurses and PCA on 6th North are amazing, Sharlene and all the other PCAs are awesome! I want to say a special shout out to a young nurse on the floor. Her name is Carline G. She's an amazing an caring young Nurse with excellent bedside manners. She took time out to listen and make sure that I had every thing i needed. She's a gem, a wonderful and caring human being. Big thank you Carline. Keep up the good work. You made a very difficult and scary experience bearable; and you made yourself available despite your busy schedule.
