In September 2025, I took advantage of a free cardiac CT by Life Imaging. My calcium plaque score was extremely high. I immediately scheduled further testing with a team of cardiologists. A cardiac catheter revealed just how blocked my arteries were and a stent was not an option. After the test, Dr. Jeffrey Newman came to see me. He explained to me that I needed triple by pass surgery (CABG x3). Within 3 days I was on the operating table. Dr. Newman and his team did an outstanding job, without a doubt a life saving surgery. I am alive today because of Dr. Newman's leadership in the OR, his skills, his knowledge, his experience and his total dedication to his God given profession. From my newly reconstructed heart, Thank you!! Dr. Newman and a special thank you to the team of nurses in Cardiac ICU and Step Down at Delray Medical Center. I was treated very well by everybody. My husband had triple bypass surgery by Dr Jeffrey Newman. This was his 12th surgery, for various needs in the past 10 years. I say this so you understand, we have had occasion to deal with a variety of surgical fields and surgeons.. Both my husband, as the patient, and myself, as the caretaker, are quite 'blown away', with the expertise Dr Newman provides...quality of care, along with patience in explaining to a layperson what will be done and what expectations of same are realistic. From the moment you enter the office, the staff greets you with a smile before you even step up to the counter, the staff assistant's are all professional, yet at the same time, personal and warm and fuzzy. Dr Newman, himself, is the single most attentive surgeon we have encountered in the past 10 years, and we have had the expertise of all of them and considered every one of them to be excellent. Having said that, Dr Newman, has stepped that experience way above and totally beyond, any of our past experiences. His assistant staff, is in contact with him, in real time, while you're at your office visit - so he is fully aware of all that your case needs, and reacts to it immediately. When my husband was in critical care, after surgery, Dr Newman was present many times throughout the day and and into the night. As I said, his level of care and staff, are far superior than anything we considered to be 'excellent' with our prior experiences. If you only want the best, we can say, without hesitation, to put your mind at ease, as you will be in the hands of the best of the best. As busy as he is, he somehow, is able to make you feel like you are his only patient. Thank you, Dr. Newman, for everything you have done and continue to do! You have no idea how much it means to have peace of mind that you, as the patient, and the family, as caretakers, are in superior quality of care!

Dr Newman saved my husbands life. He is caring and compassionate.God bless him and the wonderful nurses at Delray Medical Center .My husband is 88 years old Dr Newman preformed open heart surgery on him replacing his aortic and mitral valves and a heart procedure to prevent a fib. Four yes ago another heart surgeon talked us out of this procedure because it was very dangerous .We will always be grateful to him

I can not say enough positive things about Dr. Newman and his staff. He saw my mother in an extremely prompt manner, explained her condition in a clear and concise manner. He then laid out the different options available to her, provided his recommendation without being arrogant or pushy.
The surgery went as well as planned. The doctor checked up on her at regular intervals while she was recovering in the hospital.
It has been a couple of months since the serious procedure and my mother is doing better than could have been expected. I firmly believe this is due to the professionalism and expertise of Dr. Newman.
