Dr. Brent Schillinger

I have been going to this place for fifteen years. Dr. Brent Schillinger is amazing! He is extremely passionate about his job. He is a true artist with everything he does. From face fillers to lasers to lip injections, Dr. Schillinger is the best. Also, the staff is top notched. Veronica, the receptionist is always friendly, thoughtful, helpful with all my questions, and provides me with the latest samples. She's the best receptionist ever.

Reception area was nice. Was allowed to use the restroom which was immaculate. Receptionist was busy but professional. Was brought back by Sam who was very kind and courteous. Dr Schillinger was as always, kind and professional. Knew I was being taken care of and felt better after my visit. Until next year!

I had scheduled an appointment with this office for an urgent skin condition that needed medical attention. The day before my appointment, scheduled for 05/23/2023, I spent over 3 hours on-and-off the phone with Dr. Schillinger's office. They called to let me know that even though I had already scheduled an appointment, they would no longer be seeing me. The receptionist, Rose, told me they will not be taking my insurance because they did not want to honor my plan. She did not give me a clear reason why they would no longer be allowing me to use my Blue Cross Blue Shield plan. Granted, they are listed as one of the providers under my plan and the office is accepting new patients, but they simply refuse to take my Blue Cross Blue Shield plan for no clear reason. I called Blue Cross and spoke with a manager, who confirmed the Dr. Schillinger's office should have accepted my plan because they are listed as an in-network provider. They even gave me a reference number and provider number to provide to the doctor's office for them to reach out and resolve their issue. Not only was Rose rude, impatient, and unclear with me on the phone, but she also hung up the call when I was mid-sentence trying to explain to her what the insurance company had asked me to explain to her. I am only writing this review because I hope they look into this issue so that future patients with an urgent need do not go through this. I should not have had my apportionment cancelled the day before simply because you decided to no longer accept my plan, even though you are an in-network provider. At the very least, your staff should have had common decency with prospective patients, because we are already going through a health issue and you should not be making the situation even worse. I am disappointed that a medical office treats people the way I was treated. I hope this does happen to others.

Dr. Schillinger called me after very minor surgery removing some squamous cell from my arm and he called the next day to see how I was doing. That doesn't happen much these days. I was very pleased! I had a knee replacement last year but never did the surgeon stop by in the hospital after the surgery and he never called to check on my recovery. So, kudos to Dr. Schillinger!!

Absolutely amazing! I've been working with Dr. Schillinger's office professionally for the last almost 10 years. When I needed immediate skin testing for nickel sensitivity before a metal device was placed in my heart, he saw me on the Saturday morning following the Friday afternoon that my cardiologist at UHealth requested the ruling out. Doctors just aren't available on Saturdays, unless they are concierge. I'm extremely grateful for him and his team for being there for me prior to heart surgery. He's also a skin master!
