Dr. Black is one of the Best genuinely caring Doctors who I have experienced in my 66 years of being a patient. I believe not only that he is a wonderful surgeon, but he is wonderful individual who genuinely cares about you as a individual. l would definitely highly recommend him as being your surgeon!! He did surgery 12-14 years ago and when I needed a surgeon again I requested a referral for him again, without absolutely no regrets. I not only have the highest regards for him as a Doctor but also as an individual!! What a wonderful blessing having him as one of my doctors. Best regards Ed Hunter

This past year diagnosed with breast cancer I had an appointment at Halifax Surgery Center Where I met Dr.Black and his Nurse Danielle Two of the most wonderful compassionate intelligent people I've ever met they helped me along my journey with a very successful double mastectomy all my follow up visits answered my questions took the time to understand and be caring of what I was going through I'm so thankful I had the best surgeon to do my surgery I am cancer free now weeks later had my reconstructive surgery with a plastic surgeon which was also successful I highly recommend Dr.Black and his amazing staff this is a great office !

Dr. Black has done three surgeries for me and my husband now. He is straightforward, no nonsense kind of guy who gives the patient all information necessary. Easy to talk to and open to questions He really takes good care of his patients and the outcome of the procedure. I'd recommend him to anyone needing a general surgeon
