My cardiologist for the past six years retired at the end of 2024 and I needed to find a new cardiologist quickly. I looked up the reviews for doctors that specialize in my needs and Dr. Celis had the best reviews plus his group was affiliated with Advent Health. I called his office earlier in 2025 and asked for an appointment. The very friendly person that I spoke with informed me that he had a cancellation the next day! My wife and I went to see him and were immediately comfortable talking with Dr. Celis and by the end of the appointment we had a plan of treatment that I felt confident would help me. I cannot say enough about the outstanding care I received from Dr. Marvin Lu, the staff at Cardiology Physicians of Daytona Beach, and the surgical team at AdventHealth. I was referred to Dr. Lu by my longtime cardiologist, Dr. Jamidar, for surgery.
From the very beginning, I was treated with the utmost respect. Dr. Lu and his team made sure I fully understood my condition, what was causing the problem, and the details of the surgery that would correct it. Their explanations were clear and thorough, leaving me confident in every step of the process.
Dr. Lu and the surgical team have a truly wonderful bedside manner. Prior to the procedure and throughout it, they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable, cared for, and at ease. The professionalism, compassion, and skill they demonstrated were phenomenal.
The office staff at Cardiology Physicians is also wonderful--friendly, efficient, and genuinely caring. Even the security guards at AdventHealth treated me with respect and kindness. From start to finish, everyone made me feel like a valued human being, not just a patient.
