Dr. Peter Correnti is a board-certified cardiologist with the Orlando Health Heart and Vascular Institute, specializing in general cardiology and cardiovascular disease. He received his bachelor's in biology from Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, and a master's in biology from Villanova University in Pennsylvania. He earned his degree in osteopathic medicine at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Stratford, New Jersey, and his cardiology fellowship at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, New Jersey. He is a retired U.S. Army captain and enjoys making a difference in his patients' lives.

The team work is just great! Receptionist out front went above and beyond to help me get scheduled in time to get my surgery done on August 11 th 2025. We only had a few days , i felt like we were going to have to reschedule my surgery on my Brain . It was stressful until she said what are you doing? I told her getting abused on the phone. So she took phone and called for me. Lovely woman. I probably could make better sense of, because of my brain surgery I feel like I'm all over the place . Very pleased, he proved to be a good listener and allow my thoughts to be part of our conversation. To start he revised my prescriptions change to one more effective. Also he got me a referral to an Electrophysiologist to be consider for the Watchman to eliminate my blood thinning medication. Super !
