Dr. Zaheed Tai, D.O. - Comprehensive Cardiovascular Specialists

My husband was hospitalized at WH Hospital with congestive heart failaure, and waited while hospitalized for 3 days because Dr. Tai was supposed to come do a consult and they didn't want to give him any meds until he did his consult. Well he never showed up. The nurse asked him "hey, when are you going to come see this patient?" and he said "oh, he can just be seen as an outpatient". And the nurse said it has to be within 3 days. So we try to make the appointment with him and show them his discharge papers, and he says "I've never seen this patient I can't see him in 3 days..." then they say they don't accept his insurance, which is fine, I can understand that, but then they say we can't self pay either?!?!? What?!?? Why can't I just pay???? If he had simply done his job and done the consult while he was in the hospital like he was supposed to then none of that would have been an issue because he would have billed the hospital and the hospital accepted his insurance. Now what is he supposed to do??? How about DO YOUR JOB right the first time!!!

The staff lies ( caught them in their lie) Said they were waiting for Medicare to get back to them ....Medicare was never called ...was supposed to schedule a procedure at hospital and lied

My husband waited 5 months for his procedure. When the day finally came we waited 1 and 1/2 hrs in the office with no one letting us know the reason for a delay. My husband asked for an estimate of time but no one even came out to let him know. This was a very important test that was treated without any urgency whatsoever. We finally left having no faith it was even going to take place. There have been other unnecessary delays and he will now need to find a new cardiologist. Dr Tai is good doctor as is his PA. His office staff obviously are inefficient and ineffective. The staff is an important factor in our healthcare. People's lives are at risk with this office. I would not recommend.

Dr Tye is one of the best doctors that could have had. He is a good doctor but the staff there is horrible. Never get a phone call if you call they do not answer the phone not the greatest place.

I called the day prior to my appointment which was made six months ago (a follow up) to let them know I would need to leave by 11:15 (my appointment was for 10:30) I asked when I arrived at office if he was on schedule and was assured he was- so I took a seat and waited. At 10:52 My name was called - I reiterated I would need to leave by 11:15. Was told I would need to be weighed and get an EKG and was not assured that Dr Tai would be able to see me before it was necessary for me to leave. Needless to say I rescheduled my appointment asking for the very first appointment of his day. Now I wait for another month for my follow up. There is a definite problem in Dr Tai's office whether it is lack of enough staff or what, I really don't know but I feel my time is valuable and important and if I have an appointment in the office that appointment should be honored.
