Wish I could leave 0 stars. Staff is incompetent. Obviously does not care about patient health. Husband had a stress test scheduled and they rescheduled it twice. Once because they no longer do testing on Tuesday. But when they booked the appointment they did do testing on Tuesday. Then the second appointment husband is at facility and they canceled it on the phone with him because they didn't have the equipment ready to do husband's testing. When talking to manager, she basically blew off any of my concerns. Will NEVER go here again. I would NOT recommend for anyone else to go here!!!

Worse office in Bradenton. Staff tries hard but the physicians wife runs the show. I was scheduled for surgery. No phone calls made to me for time of surgery. No authorization request was made to my insurance company . The Hospital didn't know anything about the surgery. I called the office numerous times and never was able to speak to anyone except the receptionist that only took my name and phone number. Never received a call back. Never would I ever have Dr Akella do surgery on me because of how his office handles their patients. They are so disrespectful to other people and don't care about how your life is affected by their action or lack of.

Staff effectiveness needs attention. I was scheduled for shoulder surgery 3 weeks ago. Orthopedic surgeon's office sent the request 3 weeks ago. I hate to use the old A word, but I assumed everything was fine a good. Went to the hospital for my pre-surgery tests and appointments...etc. Last week, the orthopedic surgeon's scheduler asks me for the phone number because they can't get a hold of anyone. Mailbox is full, so I called to make an appointment just to get through. The story gets worse, but bottom line, they called me today (Friday) that I'm not cleared for surgery Monday! Many of us made so many arrangements to accommodate this surgery and me being out of work. We're all dumfounded by this lack of urgency, empathy, and work ethic. I had to call several times to try and get the doctors' offices on the same page - ridiculous! Dr. Akella, took good care of me for the stent 6 months ago however. I'm looking elsewhere regardless.
