Dr. Daniel Friedman performed the implantation of a defibibrior device on April 1, 2024, over at MMH! He explained what he was going to do before the surgery and visited me in my hospital room to make sure I was feeling okay. Afterwards, I went to his office located on Manatee Ave W and had my surgery & device checked and my bandage replaced. After a few more weeks I met "Armond" who tested the device to make sure it was running as expected! Last week I received an error light on my bedroom communication device and the office called me to come in to check it out & asked me to bring the communication device as well! Armond checked & tested the defibrillator and called "Boston Scientific/Latitude" to discuss the codes and to reset it. The experiences & proceeders & employees have been very good to me! I liked Dr. Friedman's bedside manner and professionalism! Armond is my favorite employee because of his incredible knowledge about the defibulater and his upbeat attitude & brigjt smile makes coming there such a pleasant experience every time! I give the entire establishment an A+ and I would refer them if asked to! Thank you, Dr. Friedman for helping my heart to "keep on keeping on!" Regards, Candy

My husband was diagnosed with an aortic aneurysm in June 2025. His primary sent a referral to Bradenton Cardiology Center. They told him the next available appointment was at the end of September 2025. He requested to be on a cancellation list and was told they do not do that. He was then told to call scheduling to try to get an earlier appointment. He would call and no one would answer. He would leave messages, no return phone call. He finally was able to get through and gave him an appointment for August 28th. He received a phone call yesterday, August 19, telling him they have to reschedule. He's thinking oh maybe it's gonna be sooner they tell him no we have to change it to the end of October. Now here is a man who just went through mouth and throat cancer just found out he has this aneurysm and needs another surgery for something else, but cannot do it until he sees the cardiologist. We're back to square one again. This practice does not take patients feelings or what is going on into consideration, they're just numbers beware before having to jump through hoops find yourself another cardiologist

I will give Dr Mathew's n Dr James Nguyen 10 stars but the office 0 stars .... I had a catch done by Dr Mathew's 1 year ago mother's Day ... Dr Parent on call doctor admitted as I was having pressure in chest ( I had a bypass done the year before in NV anyway I was discharged by another doctor doing rounds she didn't introduce herself I had asked for note to return to work was discharged no return to work note ... nurse told me to call office this where the fun begins ... Called was told Dr parent was on vacation for a week I explained to Jaimie I needed a note faxed so I can return to work I thought Dr Mathew's placed stent so he would be the one to sign my note Jaimie told me No the admitting doctor had to sign note it took 10 calls to finally got note faxed as for my follow up I'm still waiting for call back to schedule follow up 1year later due to not being able to see Dr Matthew's or Dr J Ames Nguyen they weren't admitting doctors . Anyhoo I'm still alive thanks to Dr Mathew's and Dr James Nguyen was my savior when I moved to NV but their staff has no empathy needless to say I have found an office that was able to see me within 3 days of calling them

Dr Nguyen Michele was the most wonderful cardiologist I have ever seen. She was very thorough and patient and addressed all my concerns. She really calmed me down

If you have an acute need you may be dead before this office can get organized. I am not sure if its the doctors or the staff but the practice has a huge disconnect thats detramental to patient care. My husbands primary care doctor ordered a STAT echo from Dr Friedman before she would allow the anesthesia to put him under for emergency surgery. They needed to be sure blood or fluid was not pooling around his heart after falling and cracking his ribs. We are now on DAY-5 waiting on STAT results. We have spoken to most of the office and get the same answer of "we will send dr friedman a message and let him know its stat", still nothing happens. Meanwhile surgery had to be canceled and my husband sits in pain with a severely broken nose that cant be fixed all because this office accepted a STAT order with no intentions of immediatly turning around and reading the results. 100% consumer bait and switch. Had I known, I never would have chosen this practice or Dr. Friedman for my loved one. Your only as good as the team that supports you and cardiology does not have room for mediocre care.
