There are no words of gratitude to express about the simple fact that this doctor saved my life when I suffered a cardiac arrest in July of 2023. He performed the second of two stent operations, has prescribed the proper medication that I have been taking and my vital signs are the BP and heart rate of a totally different person! His bedside manner is off the charts amazing! God has given this angel on earth the wisdom, skill and dedication to the medical field unsurpassed by any doctor I know.

He was dismissive. Didn't listen to anything we had to say and bringing our 98 year old family member to him and she couldn't breathe he should be ashamed. Worst visit with a doctor. He ordered X-rays and then he never found them. Then the nurse kicked us out saying we were there long enough. He never even called back to say he found he X-rays.

Dr Cardenas is very thorough and has an excellent bedside manner. He is very good at diagnosing symptoms. I trust his judgment very much and highly recommend him. He makes you feel like you are his only patient. He will take as much time as he needs and doesn't Rush. He's a good listener.

Dr. Cardenas dictates his notes during his appointments with me so while I am answering his questions/explaining my issues he is also speaking into his dictation device. He does not have enough time for my questions and is actually backing out the door while I am talking near the end of the visits. I felt he was dismissive of my complaints of side effects from the statin I was taking and when I continued to experience those side effect after switching to another drug it took a full 5 business days to respond to my call & conversation with his medical assistant during which time I was not sleeping much at all due to muscle & bone pain from the medication. Once I decided to change doctors it took multiple attempts to get in touch with an actual records department so hopefully my new doctor will be getting my records soon.
