The actual care from the nurses and doctors were excellent, but the entire time I was treated I was in the waiting room. The only time I got pulled out of the waiting room was for a nurse to do my vitals and take blood, then later to go for a CT scan. Other than that I was not only assessed by the doctor, hooked up to an IV, given a diagnose by the doctor, handed my medicine to take it home and given my discharge papers...all while sitting in the waiting room chair for over 2 hours. (I have had 3 failed back surgeries, the most recent being a pain pump installation, and I was there for severe constipation due to the opiates in the pump. I was extremely uncomfortable, and in a tremendous amount of pain, so sitting in that chair for that length of time was utterly unbearable.) Apparently there were no beds/rooms available anywhere, and I feel that for such a new and up scale hospital, that shouldn't be an issue. So many people have been moving to that area and the hospital should do their best to accommodate.

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the outstanding care I recently received at your emergency department. Every nurse and doctor I interacted with was truly amazing. I received not only excellent medical treatment but also the most compassionate service. There is truly no other place like Baptist. A special shout-out and thank you to Nurse Lisa, Wendy, and Connor, the staff who performed my ultrasound, Deborah, and of course, Dr. Roberts. I live about 20 minutes away and have other emergency rooms much closer, but I consistently choose to drive the extra distance because of the superb quality of care and service I always receive at your facility. I had an incredible experience at this hospital. I originally came in for a different treatment, but while I was there I began experiencing an unexpected allergic reaction. The staff reacted immediately and with complete professionalism, I truly felt safe in their hands. Everyone I encountered was attentive, compassionate, and highly skilled. The doctor not only treated me quickly but also took the time to fully educate me about my diagnosis. They explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood what was happening at every step. The team went above and beyond by running thorough tests to ensure they found the correct diagnosis. Their urgency, expertise, and genuine care made a stressful situation so much easier to go through. I'm extremely grateful for the entire staff and the level of care I received. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone seeking exceptional medical attention.

The nurses were very kind and took great care of me. I wasn't waiting long, I went right back and even considering there were no rooms open in the ER for me they still made sure to get me in a spot where I could be seen and treated comfortably until all tests came back. Anytime we need medical attention we go to Bethesda West. Everyone down to the technicians and receptionist were very kind and professional. I feel they certainly care about their patients.

Everyone from the receptionist to the nurses to the technicians were very kind. They got me right back and they were so busy that no rooms were available but they still made sure I had care and was seen and assured that my needs were being met. The nurses were very kind and my visit was fast which made it all the better. Anytime my family needs immediate medical attention we go to Bethesda West. They took great care of me !!
