Murry Drescher, MD, is a non-invasive cardiologist specializing in clinical cardiology and geriatric cardiology. He cares for patients in clinic on Mondays and Fridays at UHealth Plantation, and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons at UHealth Boca Raton. A Brooklyn, NY native, Dr Drescher earned his bachelor's degree in biology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY and his medical degree at the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. Upon graduation from medical school in 1981, Dr Drescher completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and also completed fellowships in critical care and cardiology at the University of Miami.

I was Completely Disappointed and Quite Shocked that this Dr. Drescher wanted to put me on Blood Thinners after One Episode of Afib Due To Major Surgery. He Didn't even know of my Surgery Until I told him, then without even Digging deep into my Chart, Makes a Two second Decision and wants me on Blood Thinners when he hasn't Opened a Text Book in forty years. I Did My own Research and After a Surgery you can get Afib from Severe Pain, High Blood Pressure, and Electrolyte Imbalance and THAT was why I had Afib for the First Time in my life. You Do Not put someone on Blood Thinners when they have Only had Afib one time and it was caused by Severe Pain, High Blood Pressure, due to Severe Pain, and Electrolyte problems from being Not able to ear or drink due to the Severe Pain. This Dr. Drescher is Lazy, Sarcastic, and Arrogant. He Always has a Smirk On His Face and that is a Narcissist. I want a Doctor who is Serious and who has My Best Interest at Heart. Dr. Drescher Always has his head in the Computer, I Need a Doctor who looks me in the eye and Speaks to Me Directly. I Need Honest Communication, Not a Doctor who is Lazy, Prescribes a Serious Medication, Without Digging into my Chart. Dr. Drescher, You Do NOT Prescribe a Serious Blood Thinner to someone who has Only had Afib Once in their Lifetime due to pain after a Surgery. Dr. Dreschers Mistake, Could of Cost Me My Life.

Extremely unprofessional. Heard him mocking a patient's mental health. It made me extremely uncomfortable and upset. I can't believe he's so willingly derogative in front of his patients and staff about a person who came to him for help. Imagine if this person was a risk to themselves and this was the tipping point. Absolutely disgusting behavior and shouldn't be a doctor.
