Dr. Seth J. Baum, MD

I have been a patient of Doctor Baum's for the past seven years; He's an excellent doctor. Caring, brilliant and proactive; he is the type of physician that one remembers from previous decades. A thought leader in his field; he is on the cutting edge, actively doing research on Preventive Lipidemiology. His is not a high volume, ten minute- visit practice. Quite the contrary.He will spend an inordinate amount of time assessing relevant clinical and laboratory data. His patient assessment and plan are spot on; you truly get what you pay for with a visit to Dr. Baum.

Do not go and see this Doctor, he doesn't take insurance, so it's 275$ cash at time of visit. he has no answering service after hours so if you have an emergency, you will not be there to help you. and when you need to change the appointment they tell you 3 months. But when they need to change the appointment, they say how about 3 days from now, because they want the money, which is all they care about there. Last, he works with other cardiologists and they double team you trying to get the patient to get un-needed stress tests and heart Catheterization's or anything else they can con you into doing. This guy is only interested in earning money in anyway 1st and puts the patient last. But sure knows how to ask for the money first.
