Debra A. Becker, M.D.

I'm a retired M.D. and know when I've encountered an excellent clinician and diagnostician. Dr. Becker is a very good cardiologist and I believe an excellent, ethical and compassionate member of the medical profession.

I would give less stars if I was able to. Was referred by my primary and confirmed twice the week before in order to be seen (and also that my insurance was taken by them - largest insurance provide in FL, by the way) - I even did a patient check in and was getting automated confirmations thru text. I checked with the receptionist that my insurance was applicable the week before and made the 45 minute trip down after also cancelling a business trip to make this appointment work. They then said when I arrived, 'oh we don't take this insurance' when I got there for the appointment time - zero apology or explanation. Absolutely classless, considering it's a medical practice, I would do what I could to find someone else to see you.

Thank you for seeing me quickly and doing the proper tests so I could rest easy knowing my heart is in good condition.

I find Doctor Becker to be very direct, and to the point. She is an excellent doctor, and I am doing excellent under her care. Her medical team is amazing. They are very responsive, and knowledgeable.

The worst! First appointment was fine. During the second appointment, she was arrogant, condescending, and did not listen to me. I would never go back to her or her practice!
