Disappointed with service, started by series of mishaps! So many adds on TV re great service but realty is different. Went to Aventura urology, after looking up doctor graduation& education(impressive)The visit was good as Nurse practitioner was competent and professional. The doctor came, looked at comp, gave couple of orders to nurse! & was gone! Extreme short interaction with no physical exam! Thought afterwards at least will see him again for tests WHICH the front desk supplied. First was scheduling a Radiology appointment, GOT app , received so many texts reminder( OK good), day came, report to radiology & register. After a period A tech comes & Politely tells me that oI should have got A Blood Work with results at most 60 days prior!! But a test wasn't ordered by urology SO MY Radiology test is cancelled! I inquired WHY IS IT THAT THE RADIOLOGIST DIDN'T notice that or someone in radiology should have Notice that?? no availe, Cancelled! Have to get blood work & re schedule. Trying to get that was just as hideous or disappointing, . Arrived at urology office to get bloodwork at 11:55AM, to be told THEY GO TO LUNCH AT 12:00 !! So I have to come back!!! It takes less than 5 min to do it! & that person dealt with my mishap, so at least don't send me home Again! But he did as Lunch on the clock & there is no regard to patients. Healthcare in crisis! Go home come back get the blood work done in less than five minutes. The second time should have been done from the first visit to the doctor if they didn't have all that mishap.
Can't wait for robotic service to replace incompetent humans

Everybody was super friendly and helpful. I had that feeling that everybody LOVED their jobs. They did an exceptional job on working on me. I wanted to give 5 stars because of how great everybody was, but I did have a problem with the fact that the ER does not have access to an MRI machine. Being ex military and a motorcycle rider, I have had plenty of past injuries, so I know how ER visits go. I have injured my left foot numerous times, so I also understand tears and breaks in my feet. The doctor informed me that my toes and foot was not broken, but the pain was excruciating to the point the pain meds, muscle relaxer and lidocaine patch they gave me was not working, so I asked for a CT scan or MRI on my foot (because I have great insurance to cover that). The doctor was wonderful and explained the CT scan on the foot would not show much and they do not have access to an MRI machine in the ER. I usually end up at the University of Kentucky hospital, because that is where I am from, and while I understand that is a teaching hospital and probably bigger than MSMC, it still seemed to me with the famous name Mount Sinai in Miami near the beach and high dollar area, I assumed the ER would have access to an MRI machine being common equipment at this medical center. My only other issue was in the CT room. In taking my bra off for the CT machine, I would have felt more comfortable going into a room to get a gown because of men being in the room at the time I did it. I also had to slip off my shorts down to my ankles, which was not a problem because they gave me a blanket to cover up for that. This was a bit shocking to me, because I have always had to go into a room to get a gown any other time I have been required to get these tests.
With all this being said, I would still return to MSMC if I had to end up in an ER again.

very well organized office , great doctors and nurses who make everything easy. I noticed they have a smile in their faces I think because the office is not so crowded anymore!
Keep the good work.

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would.
Let me start by saying this: I have ZERO complaints about the doctors. The doctor I see is professional, efficient, and does everything quickly and correctly.
My complaint is about the staff in this office -- the nurses, the front desk, and especially the call center. And the situation is beyond unacceptable.
My husband has been calling this office for an entire week. Morning, afternoon, evening -- nobody picks up the phone. Not once. He kept trying for days. I also started calling, and again: nothing. Not a single answer. So after several days of this nonsense, I had no choice but to drive to the office in person, because getting anyone on the phone is simply impossible.
When I arrived, the front desk staff were sitting there completely relaxed, as if they're not working in a medical office where people actually need help. I understand they're paid hourly and probably have zero motivation to move any faster than they feel like -- and trust me, it shows.
When I asked to speak with a manager, the girl at the front desk literally started closing the glass window in my face, pretending like I wasn't even standing there. She told me to "step away," as if I was bothering her. I don't know her name -- if I did, believe me, I would write it in capital letters right here so the company would clearly know who their "star employee" is.
Next point: I know that the owner or admin will try to respond under this review with their usual copy-paste message about how they "strive to improve customer service."
Don't even bother.
I've read your responses to other reviews -- they are nothing but empty excuses. You are not improving anything.
How do I know this?
Because even my insurance company tried calling your office while I was on the line with them. The insurance agent -- a professional -- literally said:
"This is crazy. I cannot get through to them."
Just think about that: even an insurance agent cannot reach this medical office. If that isn't a massive red flag, I don't know what is.
This review does NOT require a response.
Please don't waste time posting another one of those generic, meaningless replies about how you will "look into it." You won't. You haven't fixed anything so far, and it is obvious.
The call center is a complete disaster. If a patient needs anything, the only way is to physically drive to the office -- and even then, you have to hope the front desk doesn't slam the window shut in your face.
To the owner of this office:
Please pay attention to this review. You either need to hire more staff or replace the ones who clearly don't care. There are more employees sitting around than actual patients, and yet they somehow still can't manage to answer a phone call. It is honestly a sad situation. Very sad.
Fix your front desk. Fix your call center. Fix your staffing. Patients deserve better than this.
