Florida Electrophysiology Associates

I was told that my ablation was scheduled for March 19. When I called the hospital after not hearing from them, they informed me that it had never been scheduled. I had to call the doctors office and find out that they failed to communicate the paperwork I was offered another date in two weeks. I chose to get another physician. I am a retired physician. This is outrageous.

Allowed me to sit in the lobby for 15 minutes before telling me that my doctor left the practice. I offered to wait to be seen by any other provider. They made no attempt to fit me in and suggested I come back next week. I get that things happen, but they could have figured this out weeks ago. If I didn't show up, they would have been quick to charge me a fee. I will not be returning to this practice.

The doctor is nice, but the office is a factory. The staff is not responsive. This is the exact same complaint every one star review has. You leave a message and they don't call back. They don't care about you. It's difficult to talk to a nurse and difficult to refill your prescriptions. The doctor never calls you back. Just avoid this place. Get a doctor and office that cares about you. All they want is to do is ablations.

Dr. Fishel was recommended to me by a very good friend. My experience being under his care was first-rate. I drove across the state to be his patient and I'd happily drive across the country if I need him again.

Doctors are great. Surgical scheduling staff sub par. First left 4 messages and never heard back finally had to drive to the office to get someone to respond. Finally schedule procedure got to hospital and waited an hour while they tried to contact surgical scheduling b/c coding was wrong and insurance was not approving procedure. Hospital tried calling and emailing them the Friday before and all morning of the procedure with no response. When I finally got through to them they had no solution and said we had to reschedule. Time to find another practice who honors their patients time and feeling.
