My husband went to Dr. Zaghi because while we were visiting Israel got all of a sudden sick and at Hadassah hospital he had a pacemaker implant and later a triple heart bypass. My husband heard great reviews about Dr. Zaghi for few friends with heart problems. For that reason he chose him as his cardiologist as soon as we arrived here. My husband is very impressed with Dr. Zaghi bed manners, professionalism, the time he took to explain details about his heart condition and how to improve it after surgery. He paid attention to my husband concerns and asked the right questions to help him better. My husband has completed confidence and trust in Dr. Zaghi and will recommend him to other friends.

Dr. Zaghi, MD, is wonderful. I began seeing him years ago before subsequently moving for family matters. I moved back to the area and unfortunately neglected getting back in with my doctors for the regular care I need, as well as continue recommendations previously made to help keep my cholesterol down and stay as active as possible. He's very knowledgeable, has years of experience and training, and incredibly intelligent- You don't see too many doctors with medical degrees from Yale and residency at Stanford. He listens to your concerns and ensures to run all necessary testing to find what the solution may be whether it's a procedure, required lifestyle changes or maybe necessary medication. Point blank- a great Cardiologist is the heart of medicine, literally. The staff is wonderful as well and everyone is very kind, understanding, and responsive. The NYU Langone portal is a great tool to have for communicating and viewing results and it doesn't take 5-7 business days for the staff and Dr. Zaghi to get back to you regarding a question or issue. They just got back to me in less than 24hrs after asking a question on the portal for the doctor and didn't take my concern lightly. Im glad I found Dr. Zaghi years ago, I appreciate his care very much, and appreciate all of the staff as well from nurses to clinical and front office. A very "long-winded" review but worth the read if you're in need of a wonderful experienced compassionate and inclusive highly educated Cardiologist, who now has the backing of NYU Langone having a strong network to guide other physicians and collaborate with. I met Dr Zaghi about 10-12 years ago when I was in JFK hospital with what I thought was a heart attack. (Was actually heart PVC's) Another cardiologist wanted to double the dosage of a drug that was making me extremely fatigued. I asked for another cardiologist. Dr Zaghi came in, listened to everything I had to say and said "this doesn't always work but there's no harm in trying it instead of the drugs" He started me on a Magnesium supplement. It cured my PVC's within days WITHOUT DRUGS. Recently at my annual check up, my Primary Dr found that my EKG was abnormal. I went back to Dr Zaghi to have it checked out. He's still the same doctor who takes the time to listen to his patients, explain his diagnosis, and possible treatment plan. I trusted him enough to have my 93 year old Mom go to him so I would recommend him to anyone.
