I just spent most of the last week with some serious health issues and would like to thank your staff from the kitchen service and the janitorial staff.
And the ladies on the third floor. Everyone of them related with great my care. The were kind, proficient yet compassionate to listen to an old man's story. They all were absolutely wonderful. I made some friends and made a few smile asthey did me. I hope 3rd floor nurses are commended for being great at their jobs.
I also want to thank Dr Silva for his excellent guidance, knowledge and of course his surgical skill.
I am so grateful thanks Dr. SILVA. Your Awsome and thanks again.

I had such a wonderful experience at AdventHealth Apopka! From the moment I arrived until I was discharged, everyone made me feel so cared for and comfortable.
Darlene, my nurse before surgery, was absolutely amazing..so kind, reassuring, and attentive. She helped calm my nerves and made sure I had everything I needed.
During my procedure, Andrea and Rocio, my nurse anesthetists, were both phenomenal. They explained everything clearly and made me feel completely at ease, I knew I was in great hands.
After surgery, Yesenia took such great care of me. She was gentle, patient, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time.
Honestly, I felt like I was treated like a queen throughout the entire process. The whole team went above and beyond, and I'm so grateful for the care I received. Highly recommend AdventHealth Apopka and this wonderful team!

The staff members @ Advent Health Apopka were great and the nurses were very attentive. It was clean and I felt they were knowledgeable! They pushed me to do things like walk after my surgery when I didn't think I could. It was a big surgery for me and they made me feel cared for and I appreciated staying over night there.

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. My mother-in-law was visiting from out of state when she began experiencing serious heart issues. She went to the ER in Clermont, where tests revealed a 70% blockage in her heart. From there, she was transferred to this hospital -- and we believed the transfer was because she was finally going to receive the stent procedure she needed. Instead, she was kept here for 5 days, with us all thinking surgery was going to happen, only to be discharged and sent home with nothing but medication. No stent, no surgery, no real treatment for the blockage. The entire situation was misleading and devastating.
What makes this even more alarming is what happened during her stay. At one point, she was actually put under anesthesia as if the procedure was about to happen -- but the surgery never took place. She was also served expired food during her hospitalization, which is both dangerous and unacceptable in any healthcare setting.
On top of that, a nurse insulted her in Spanish, calling her a degrading name while assuming she wouldn't understand. That level of unprofessionalism and disrespect is appalling.
Even my own experience as a family member was deeply frustrating. When I arrived at the hospital during what I thought was her scheduled surgery, staff told me she had simply gone down for a scan. In reality, she was already in surgery at that very moment. To be lied to in such a critical, emotional situation is cruel and completely unacceptable.
In the end, my mother-in-law was transferred under the impression she would be receiving urgent care for her heart, but instead was subjected to days of waiting, expired food, disrespect from staff, and ultimately sent home without the procedure she needed. This hospital failed her not only medically, but also in basic compassion, honesty, and professionalism. Patients and their families deserve so much better.

My father-in-law passed away here in the ICU after a long, complicated battle. The nurses: Lorna, Erin, Erika, Wes, Clarian, Troy, and others whose names I may be missing, were incredibly kind and took exceptional care of him. Dr. Stansberry was intelligent, compassionate, and always made sure we understood what was happening. Communication was strong throughout his entire stay. During an unimaginably hard time, the staff made all the difference. No compromises were made, even during the holidays.
