Dr. Nipun Arora, MD

I am writing this review as a deeply upset and concerned son. My mom was scheduled to have a PFO closure procedure with this doctor, and the entire experience was an absolute nightmare. On the day of the surgery, after preparing emotionally and physically, she was informed upon arrival that the surgery had been canceled due to United Health denying coverage. When questioning United, they said the denial was because the doctor's office failed to submit sufficient documentation to justify the surgery. When Dr. Nipun Arora was confronted about this, he had the audacity to blame my mom, saying it was her job to provide the full medical history. Excuse me? You're a heart surgeon preparing to perform a serious procedure, and you didn't even review my parent's medical history? This lack of preparation is not just unprofessional--it's dangerous. To make matters worse, the office is an organizational disaster. Communication is practically nonexistent, and their lack of accountability is appalling. After months of waiting for this surgery they waited till she was in the office to deny her care. Trusting them with my parent's health was clearly a mistake. I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone. They need to get their act together before putting more lives at risk.

I met Dr Arora through a hospital ER where he put a stent in my left artery. He did an excellent job, much so that I am visiting him at his office which is about 30 min away from me. He is so knowledgeable and caring and listens to you. You will not feel rushed at all and will answer all your questions or concerns about medications or procedures. Reason for 4 stars is because of the office staff. They have an answering service so you will not get someone live. You have to leave a message and wait patiently for a callback! It's very frustrating when all you want is a refill on prescriptions and shouldn't take days of waiting and worrying.

Dr Arora is amazing, extremely knowledgeable and very thorough. He very patiently listens to all the questions. He's got my dad out of tremendous pain.

Dr. Arora's hands, brain and heart saved my dad's life yesterday with emergency surgery. Words cannot express the amount of appreciation and respect my family has for him. He is excellent and I highly recommend their practice where my dad has been a patient for years.

Best Doctor and Staff that we have had in all our health history...Dr. Arora is so knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. He's been able to meet all our needs with concern and caring attitude about my husband's health. Think he's a 5 star person. Much Aloha, Raymond and Ruby Akahoshi
