AdventHealth Altamonte Springs

I cannot say enough about Advent Health Altamonte Springs and the staff there. My day shift nurse, the day after my surgery, Ilianna, was amazing. She checked in on me all the time and did everything she could to keep me comfortable! She also finally brought me the iPad I was waiting for and it made all the difference for my stay. Tamyra, my morning tech was so sweet. She took me on a nice walk around the floor and made sure I was all set for my shower. She clean and made my bed up so perfect. She brought me the best cup of ice water ever! My night shift post op nurse, Jennifer was amazing. If felt like I knew her forever. She has my sister's name (inside joke). She really listens and didn't dismiss my pain. My immediate post op nurse, Pj (Paul) is an exceptional human being. He sat and told me his ambitions and was personally encouraging about mine. David was with me during my surgery and right after and and his dad jokes were best part of my whole week. I am a dad joke connoisseur and he out did me! Before I went into surgery, nurse Tammy made me feel so blessed and like God was watching over me from above. My admit and prep nurse Crystal went above and beyond. She was so patient and calming. She placed my pic line perfectly. She found a new spot no one ever used before and it was the first time my pic line lasted more than 24 hours without bleeding and becoming painful. She made a bed for my glasses and understood my anxiety of being without them. Before I could open my eyes in recovery she had them there waiting for me. Dr Gregory Neel is amazing and precise. He has amazing bedside manor and is really just a great down to earth guy! Check in went so smooth. Rooms were large and clean. 10/5 stars Wish I could stay longer but more so I would love to call these amazing clinicians co workers. Everything ran extremely efficient. Everyone knew their job. It is run like a well oiled machine.

The facility was clean from the waiting room to being brought back to get ready for my surgery. The receptionist was so kind , well mannered and professional. My care team was amazing, between the nurse's, the anesthesiologist and my surgeon Dr. Mikheyev. Pre-op and post-op the nurse's came by often to make sure I was comfortable, if I was experiencing any pain, asking if I needed anything, just truly caring. I have had quite a few surgeries over the years and I can honestly say, this facility was one of the best I have ever been in. Fantastic job by all who were involved in my care. Thank you !!!!

Hands down best ER/care experience given the circumstances. Seems weird to say that, but true. Quickly seen. Walked in around 230pm, immediately taken back. CT done by 330pm and diagnosis by 4pm. Family member needed immediate surgery. Surgery completed by 730pm. Recovering by 8. One night stay. Nurses, hospitalists, discharge planner all were super nice and answered all our questions. Discharge went smoothly while waiting on IV to finish. Family member is 4 days post surgery and recovering well! Thank you!

Gotta be honest. I was very unsatisfied with how my wife was treated here. I think the first Nurse and the Dr did all they could do. However when the Nurses switched shifts the new nurse never came by the room. Never gave my wife the medicine. We had to call the nurse through the hospital bedside phone and I believe if we didn't do that she never would have came. She tried to offer the medicine when we are about to leave. The medicine should have been given upon arrival or maybe after alittle of tests but not hours and not right before we were going to be leaving. Thankfully everything was OK and I myself have been treated at this ER and the service my wife recieved from that nurse was horrible. The first Nurse and the Dr are not part of my bad review. The nurse that took over the shift needs to do a significantly better job or get lost.

Doctor Ariani and his office staff are very professional and kind. Dr. Ariani is very knowledgeable and caring. His medical judgment and procedures have improved the quality of life of my mother without the need for strong pain medications despite the severity of her condition. The staff is very responsive and makes everything go smoothly. I give them my highest recommendation.
