I am beyond grateful to Dr. Fernando Safdie. He performed two surgeries on my mother, one on her lung and later a hiatal hernia, and both were truly exceptional. From day one, he gave us confidence with his clear explanations, and everything turned out exactly as he promised. His care, kindness, and professionalism meant the world to us. My mother's recovery has been amazing, and we will always be thankful for him. Highly, highly recommended.

I cannot thank Dr. Fernando Safdie enough for the incredible care he provided for my mom. She had a cancerous tumor in her lung that required surgery, and from start to finish, he was attentive, professional, and compassionate. When we hear about the advances made in medicine we tend to think "that's just media's rhetoric". But I am here to tell you that Dr. Fernando Safdie and his Team at Mount Sinai Medical Center on Miami Beach, along with the Pulmonary and Oncology Departments, together saved my wife's life! Diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer, which was quickly diagnosed and in a period of 5 months, after chemotherapy, immunotherapy and surgery, she has had a "Complete Response" and today is Cancer Free and improving daily from surgery. Not everyone will have the same results but having the right team our side made all the difference. The level of attention and care could not have been better. The straight forward approach to the disease and the execution of the remedy plan was amazing! Our deepest gratitude and appreciation to the Entire Mount Sinai Staff, and especially Dr. Safdie, willl remain with us forever.

Dr.Safdie is an excellent surgeon. He was attentive and caring throughout my surgery and post op care. He listened to me and did everything he could to make me comfortable. I highly recommend him, and would not go to anyone else if I have to have any other thoracic procedures or surgery.

I was very fortunate to experience the surgery of Dr Safdie. He is extremely professional and available. He got right to the point and told me I needed surgery for a worsening condition and explained the need for surgery, but he explained that the choice was mine. I went through the ramifications of having surgery now or not. He recommended it now and I followed his advice. He was attentive in the hospital and showed his concern for me. I could not recommend him any more heartily.
