Delaware Cardiovascular Associates Dr. Qureshi

My first visit was professional and impressive. On subsequent visits, even though I could see him casually talking and laughing with his employees, I was told Dr. Qureshi had been called away to perform emergency surgery at the hospital. Then his office scheduled a vascular test on my legs. Wrote twice to Dr. Quershi telling him what happened during that appointment at his office. It was not good. Now 5 months later and no answer / communication with his office, I have a new doctor.

The Dr. who saw my husband was very good in the hospital. Even though he was supposed to come speak to me after my husband's procedure, and he spoke to one family and left me in the waiting room. Once I went to his room and mentioned that to the nurse, she called him and he spoke to me on the phone. Afterwards, our experience was terrible. After wearing a monitor for weeks and sending it out, he had an appointment, which was cancelled the day before and rescheduled for a MONTH later. Then THAT appt was cancelled. When I said something to the person on the phone, she said, "well I don't know why they didn't have you in to see the nurse practitioner." That appointment another month later was finally kept. Today, he had an appointment that was made SIX months ago. Yesterday, we received a call from their office to confirm it. It was at 9:45 AM. At 9:00 AM, someone called to cancel the appointment, saying, "I don't know who made this appointment, because he isn't in on Fridays." When my husband complained, the woman hung up on him. He called back and spoke to someone else who tried to make another appointment a month from now with the nurse practitioner. He said no, and supposedly has an appointment with the doctor in FEBRUARY!!! I don't know if they are overextended, or just have incompetent staff, but I would not recommend this practice.

I had some chest pain and fluttering last April 2018. Dr. Quareshi performed a cardiocatherization and multiple tests were perfomed at BeeBee. OK. I also wore a monitor for recording my heart rhythms for 2 weeks that were sent to an offsite internet service. Unfortunately, I was left in the dark about the results for weeks after wearing the monitor. Dr. Qureshi's office seems to be in disarray. They never follwed up like they were supposed to do. I never received information or any help on what those results meant. Now for the worst part....It is now April 2019...EVERY appointment that was made for me to see the Doctor since LAST year was cancelled. In fact, I have yet to see Dr. Qureshi. When I complained at one cancellation call, the secretary rudley hung up on me. Totally unprofessional. The PA he has there had very little advise to give me and I felt totally abandoned. Appointments that were cancelled were usually cancelled the same day by the office with little apology and at great inconvenience to me. It's illogical to be offered another appointment at the thought it will only be cancelled again. I finally gave up and have told the office I will not be back.

Dr Qureshi saved my husband's life

You can always tell a Dr. by his staff. Dr. Q. is just the best as is his staff. I see Alice NP, now and that works well for me. No cancellations and right here in Ocean View. Very pleased.
