Make sure to check your bill. They have billed me for 3 visits that i was not there. Spoke to my doctor and said he will take care of it. Never happened. I spoke to him again. He told me to drop off the bill. Did back in May and still being charged. He told me they are having problems with the billing company. They even sent me to collections for it.

Confirmed my appointment several days in advance because I'm 2.5 hours away with my wife who is in Hospice care in Phila. Arrived at 2:55 for 3:15 appointment. Was taken back by nurse at about 3:25, got weighed and had quick EKG. Waited in exam room until 4:25 with no contact, found a note pad and left message for Dr. Sunnergren that I was leaving, Because I had to get back to my wife.
Not the first time I showed up for appointment and never saw Doctor. No concern for patients time. Never heard back, no apology or attempt to reschedule. Will find another Cardiologist.
As a followup, received a copy of my Medicare reports for April 2025. The above referenced appointment was billed to Medicare in amount of $315.00. Despite never seeing Dr. Sunnergren and leaving after waiting over an hour, they billed Medicare anyway. No wonder Medicare is going broke, paying Doctors for not seeing patients.

Worst patient assistance ever at Dr Kumar's office! They never answer any phone calls, & you have to wait 48 hrs to hear back after messages, if they ever call back at all. They are Cardiologists! Their patients need to be addressed quickly & efficiently. My mother called to get a prescription refill for Eliquis blood thinner two weeks ago & it hasn't been done. She is now in the hospital after having a stroke! There is a team of receptionists & assistants there but no one can pick up a phone. The Doctors aren't even decent and the pure disregard for their patients is sickening. When you're in the office everyone treats you like you're a bother for disrupting their day & making them do their job. Definitely time to find a new office!

It's unfortunate that even tho the docs are good here.... The schedulers are awful. Not only are they EXTREMELY rude you can tell they just don't care.
I have seen Dr Kumar in the past and would like to see him again because he's a good doctor but I'm going to seek a new cardiologist because it's not worth the aggravation to get past their front office.
The doctors need to pay attention to all the bad reviews they receive because of some of the folks they have working for them.

Find another practice! Made an appointment with this group after having open heart surgery. Took nearly 8 months to schedule a first time visit. Received a phone call 3- 4 months prior to my appointment telling me that they could not see me and needed to change the location and my date for a few weeks later. No problem. Couldn't go to Millville needed to go to Lewis. OK. Received a phone call the day before my appointment telling me that I would need to see a Physician Assistant and that the appointment was a virtual appointment. I stressed that this appointment was a first time visit and that I would like to see a Cardiologist and that I have been waiting for 8 months. NO WAY. I asked how they could listen to my heart? How could they check my lungs? How could they do an EKG? This is a first time visit that I have waited over 8 months. Why wasn't I notified earlier? Why did they wait until the day before my appointment to tell me that I would not see a Cardiologist? I told them that they need to stop writing checks that they can't cash! If you can't provide a quality service, perhaps you should stop taking appointments until you can provide a quality service with new first time patients being able to see a physician. This appears to me to be a complete Medicare money grab. This practice has no baseline. They have never seen me. They have no first hand knowledge of my medical history. All they wanted to do was schedule a virtual appointment of a new patient and bill Medicare. My strong advise - If you are a new patient, and a practice can't make time to see you with a physician, (especially when it is a heart patient) Run! This practice is a joke and I wouldn't let them put a band-aid on me! Too many of these Dr's think their hands have been touched by God- I will go to Philadelphia for my medical needs - thanks for nothing Cardiovascular Consultants of Southern Delaware.
