Bayhealth Cardiology, Dover, Eden Hill

I love Dr. Eakin! (5 Stars). She is an awesome cardiologist, very knowledgeable, and has a superb personality and bedside manner. She takes the time to listen to your concerns. She answers any questions very well, with attention to details. I highly recommend her! The staff waiting on you at check-in and check-out are very nice and very efficient, as well as her medical assistant (All 5 Stars). The only problem was getting an appointment and being able to be seen. My appointment kept getting cancelled by the office and rescheduled 3-4 months out. I was rescheduled 3 or 4 times before I was able to get in and see her (4 Star Review). So glad I finally did. I used to see Dr. Eakin at Delaware Cardiovascular Associates in their Milford office, and then in the Dover office at 1113 S State St, Suite 100, Dover, DE. After she left their office, I asked them where I could see Dr. Eakin and they told me she was NOT seeing patients anymore; she was doing hospital rounds at Bayhealth. They lied to me. They wanted me to make an appointment with one of their other doctors. I told them I did not want to see one of the other doctors. I wanted to follow up with Dr. Eakin, who I had been seeing for years. I finally heard where she was on the radio about a year later. So due to Delaware Cardiovascular Associates lying about Dr. Eakin's whereabouts and also having appointments cancelled at her new office, I missed 2 years of continuity of care with Dr. Eakin and my other cardiologist at University of Pennsylvania. So happy to finally be back with her.

Had appt with Cardio/Dr. Patel. Appt was 9:20am. I was in and put before my scheduled time. Dr.Patel is always friendly. Easy to talk with. Explains any questions and concerns I have. He takes time to listen to me. His staff is always friendly and efficient.

I have been a patient at Delaware heart and vascular for over 10 years. The staff and especially Dr. Patel.and Pa. Anderson are wonderful! Since the recent merger with Bayhealth it is more difficult to get appointments. Growing pains...I suspect. Nonetheless I am grateful for all the fine folks at Delaware heart and vascular!!!

I see Dr. Sanjeev Patel at Bayhealth Cardiology and absolutely love him. His bedside manner is the best I have ever encountered, he takes time to explain everything to you and they even have a digital display on the wall and he can touch different parts of the heart on the electronic device and show you exactly what he is referring to when he speaks and for visual people like me it is the best thing. I love this office, and I love this physician. Office staff is always very welcoming and helpful.

As a new patient at Bayhealth Cardiology, Dr. Abbrescia and his team, I walked away knowing my transition was seamless. Dr A reviewed all of my records before my appointment and I truly believe he is interested in providing me quality service, as well as having given me sufficient time for a first appointment. His team was welcoming and efficient. Thank you.
