Starling Physicians Cardiology

The pre exam worker Bea needed to shave my chest hair in just three small spots and hacked at my chest fast causing all three spots to have bleeding spots the person giving me the stress test gave me a gauze bandage to apply to the wounds. Bea was pissed she had to shave me and acted pissed and verbally scolded me. She has No place working with patients in the medical field.

This doctor D'Angelo did not provide any care or concern for my mother on her follow up appointment after her triple bypass surgery. My mother went in and her blood pressure was higher than usual and when my mother first asked the medical assistant about some of her health related concerns the medical assistant seemed overly annoyed and bothered by my mothers questions regarding her current health and the current tests and overall expectations of the appointment That day. During my moms EKG that this annoyed and abrasive rude med assistant performed on my mother was unlike any other EKG I have ever seen. She literally started putting the electrodes on the front of my moms shirt one on her back over her clothing to perform the EKG. My mom said I have never had this test done like this before and the assistant just blew her off and said I'm the trained professional here. My mother is the quiet meek week behaved type and knew it was not right but just obliged politely. I wish I had been there to let the doctor and medical assistant both know that they need to strongly consider career changes. My mom said she will not be going back and I explained how online reviews work and we will be checking them prior to new appointments moving forward.

Woman at cardiology check in was rude! First time here. She was condescending and not personable at all. Not the way a person (or their family) who is not feeling well wants to be treated when checking in.

Don't bother posting an anything but positive review on their site as it could be deleted. While the doctor was great, the office staff was rude - like exceptionally rude. I saw how badly they treated someone while waiting along with my husband and then my husband was treated rudely on future visit. If you say anything they will "fire" you as a patient. If you have a heart attack and are sent to Hartford Hospital and one of Starlings cardiologist visit you, make sure you think about not only getting great care from the cardiologist but also navigating the anything but helpful folks in the office staff. Evidentially, the office staff is far more superior than the Cardiologist or at least this is the vibe they throw. Heart issues are stressful enough and dealing with this bunch won't make you feel any less stress. Shop around for a cardiologist, read the reviews, and make a random call to check out the office staff before committing to them. Remember, it's your health.

They are the worst group ever. Never responded to the refill requests from the pharmacy I had to call to get them to respond to the pharmacy for my blood pressure pills. I had to go to ER with 183/105 blood pressure because of their negligence. I shouldn't need to worry about my doctor not doing his job or his staff not doing their job. What would have happened if had a HEART ATTACK or a STROKE. I'm definitely changing doctor and office. Get better at your job because your patients will die because of your negligence.
