Dr. Somers and his team, specifically Kim, are hands down the best clinical care team I have interacted with. I have two elderly parents with many serious cardiac and other conditions and this team goes out of their way to communicate, get involved and help me make sure my parents and I are in the best hands.
Dr. Somers is an amazing doctor. His manner is calm and kind. He lets me be as involved in my case as I want to be. I love that he will explain things to me in detail and draw diagrams if I'm confused. I enjoy our appointments, and I feel valued!
Dr. Summers has a great reputation, but the organizational structure and the painful process to schedule an appointment with Janet is absolutely terrible. It takes the front office 3-weeks of leaving messages to schedule an appointment, and then they have a 6 week backlog. One person told me that it takes 2-3 weeks for them to internally process a referral. Technically, they're in the Stone Age! Northeast Medical Group - New London & Waterford, in my opinion, the WORST MANAGED medical practice that I've ever encountered! Update- I had my appointment with Dr. Brill. While he's brilliant, the front desk staff is borderline rude! Top down leadership ?
