The first thing Dr. Allen said to me, very first thing, was "Do you have any questions for me?". Personality, I liked that she asked that question. And I did have a question. Most importantly, I liked and believed her answer. I've dealt with Doctors who have superiority complexes and it hasn't gone well. Second, I had a problem with an arm cuff not shutting off when my blood pressure was being taken. When my blood pressure was taken at Dr. Allen's office, it was high, as it always is because of that experience. I laugh it off. Dr. Allen wanted to take my blood pressure again. I asked if she could do it with an old style hand pump. That's what she was doing. She said "Great". It was 118/75(I think). I told her I have to take it 3 times at home, just to get myself relaxed from the prior experience. She laughed and said she understood.
