Patient
My experience with Dr Michaelson and his staff was poor. I was put on medicine for a common heart diagnosis. One of the medicine was very routine and common. I had side affects that were disturbing and saw another Dr Novella. Dr novella was far more courteous and thoughtful then Michaelson. Novella informed me to stop taking the medicine , a beta blocker, that Michaelson prescribed for me. Novella explained it was inappropriate. After I complained about light headed dizzy spells I was placed on a 30 day monitor. So after the 30 days no one in the office called me or asked to see me in the office. In fact On my last visit to see Michaelson he never showed up and the office told me as I entered to see Michaelson he did not show up. What kind of Dr is Michaelson? In my opinion, a non caring dr who is inattentive to the needs of his patient Fogel. I dont write a lot of reviews. I am relating my experience to help others judge. His office staff is rude. and in my opinion, his staff has a non caring attitude toward helping their patients. They in my view are taking their patients for granted. They dont respect that we pay for their expertise which in my case was quite poor. I have changed cardiology offices to a group from Yale New Haven in Fairfield Ct. Dr michaelson and his staff should be investigated to make sure that they are meeting proper standards for patients. I think that this group is in need in oversight. The review is my personal opinion. My review is based on Fogels experience with the staff and Dr Michaelson. Dr Novella who is a surgeon was very nice, kind, respectful. Michaelson could learn a lot from Dr Novella. Good luck
