Dr Shah is very nice and explains everything so you know what's going on. I feel comfortable talking to him. He is kind and patient and lets you come to your own decisions.

Dr. Shah is taking over my care since my cardiologist retired. In my first meeting with him, he made me feel quite at ease, was knowledgeable about my history, and gave me the time needed to ask any questions I had.

I was at Bridgeport Hospital emergency room early on Sunday morning because I was having chest pains and after having a previous heart attack three years ago, I knew I should see someone. The staff at the hospital emergency department were great and thorough in my care and as luck would have it my cardiologist, Dr. Chirag Shah was on call and available in the hospital to see me that day. It was a reassuring feeling that my cardiologist who knows my history, was there to care for me. He has been with me literally through every step of my heart disease journey. He has taken very good care of me from day one and is available to either see me or return a phone call to me whenever I have requested it. I feel safer knowing that he is in charge of my care and I appreciate all he does to keep me healthy so that I can enjoy my life.

Dr. Shah, is great. Very thorough, takes his time and explains everything. Treats you like a patient, not a number!
