My wife has a high risk of breast cancer and needed an MRI to verify that she doesn't have cancer. They rescheduled on her twice, forcing her to take time off from work unnecessarily. Finally, someone reached out and apologized and scheduled her for today. Her appointment was at noon and she showed up at 12:03 and they told her she's late and that they'll have to reschedule her again. Keep in mind there was a shift change at noon and being 3 minutes earlier would not have gotten her in any sooner. This shows a clear disregard for their patients welfare and a complete lack of professionalism and competency. I spoke to both the receptionist and radiologist on call, and they were unsympathetic and unable to help. The radiologist stated that he did not have time to squeeze her in for a 15 minute MRI (he mentioned that each appointment window is 15 minutes apart, but he had time to sit on the phone with me and make excuses. He also blamed their scheduling manager. I agree with him that she is totally incompetent and should not hold her position any longer. We have screenshots from my charts that state she was told to be there at 12pm when the radiologist states she should have been 15 minutes earlier, which was not communicated.

Went for my first mammogram here. It was actually amazing. I was so nervous going in and everyone was fast, kind, helpful and just amazing. The tech I had Amanda was so sweet, she communicated everything with actual kindness and it didn't feel forced like most people. She was down to earth and comforting. The entire staff was thorough and fast as can be. Totally recommend them

I don't know what's going on with MidState medical center use to be a good hospital for appointments and surgeries now nothing, never pickup the phones, for mammograms, surgery for OBG no happens leave people waiting, then they get upset went you have to visit emergency room with complain. Where we have to do go Hartford hospital or other hospital, if that's the case said something.

The actual imaging service that I was provided was excellent. But the process of managing all the entities around the service has been awful. I was told I would be getting the mammogram at Mid-State Imaging. But when I searched for their office, it was West Hartford Imaging, CT. Last week I received a text telling me I had a $10 copay, which I assumed was SPAM because it came from Meriden Imaging Center. I figured out it was legitimate, but then received the receipt from impagepay, which I think is the branding accounting system used. Luckily, I have been breast cancer free for 10 years, but I can't imaging deciphering all this if I was concerned I might have cancer.
