MidState Medical Center

Wife had surgery there. Wonderful experience! Doctors and surgeons were great. My wife stayed on pavilion A room 7 . The Nurses and Aides that took care of her were unbelievable! The whole staff was very attentive and comforting! I can't say enough good things about our experience at Mid State. Pavilion A is full of Rock Stars! Thank you very much for taking care of my wife.

I had surgery at the Mid State hospital in Meriden CT and needed to stay overnight. The entire team was very friendly and helpful, with special shout outs to Tina and Jeremy in recovery and Jessica the floor nurse. They all went above and beyond which made a not so great situation bearable if not enjoyable. Going forward I'll be requesting Mid State Hospital when I need medical attention.

Please do not go here if you hate waiting. Because these nurses/doctors are disrespectful, rude, and just plain on horrible. Some may be kind enough to help and try what they can do help. But the waiting time is actually insane to even get to see a doctor or even a nurse. Came here at 8 ish or 9 and been waiting for 4-6 hours to even get a doctor to do anything. They are also super rude for saying "this is the 30th time they've asked" when we've been waiting for H O U R S to even get anywhere besides a simple blood sample drawn for my mom. This place is disappointing and not worth your money, your time, and your breath.

My brother was admitted to the ICU last night for his Heart rate being at 30. Today they moved him to Pavillion E. It's as though they forgot he was a patient. It's almost 8 pm. He has not been fed, or checked on and not one nurse had checked his Heart rate since 6 am. They should be ASHAMED of themselves. Terrible hospital. We will be removing him and going to a BETTER Hospital. Midstate is a WASTE OF TIME.

I got surgery here last week and it was the most positive hospital experience I've ever had. Every single person that worked with me from my surgeon to every nurse and aid and even the person at the front desk was very nice through my entire stay and recovery. My room was nice and I was always checked on and made sure I was as comfortable as I could be post op. My surgeon was very good at explaining everything and had great bedside manner as well. I would highly recommend mid state medical center for anyone needing surgery! You'll get well cared for!
