Dr. Kagaoan has been a non-invasive cardiologist and partner in private practice with Greater Hartford Cardiology Group since 2004. She serves as the Medical Director and Radiation Safety Officer of the group's Echocardiography and Nuclear Laboratory. Dr. Kagaoan earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center. She completed a post-graduate internship at the University of the Philippines - Philippine General Hospital before serving as an Internal Medicine Resident at the University of Connecticut Health Center. She served as Chief Resident at Saint Francis Hospital, and also completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease.

Dr Kagaoan is an exceptional cardiologist. Her explanations of test results and options for care are detailed and understandable. She takes time with her patients answering all questions thoroughly. Her compassion is comforting and sincere. And she has a great sense of humor.
Dr Kagoan took so much time and explained things so thoroughly she said just the right things to calm my dad down but also to be sure we understood things we had a lot of questions she covered everything head to toe so thoroughly we were so impressed. Her staff was so caring they had to test him before she came in, and they really took time to listen to him be gentle with him and help him one of them even talk, military with him and just made him feel right at ease

About 15 years ago, when I lived in Connecticut, Dr. Kagaoan was my cardiologist. At the time, I was pregnant with my third child and bracing myself for yet another miscarriage, as I had been told this pregnancy wasn't viable. I initially saw Dr. Kagaoan for cardiac reasons, and she took her time with me--going through my medical and cardiac history in detail. But what truly changed my life was when we discussed my maternity care. She immediately recognized needs I didn't even know I had, needs that had not been addressed by my OB/GYN. Without hesitation, she referred me to Hematology directly from her office. Dr. Kagaoan doesn't know it, but that decision saved my son's life. The child I was told wasn't viable is now a thriving 15-year-old teenager. Because of her wide knowledge base, care, and attention, I not only have him but went on to have seven living and thriving children. This "thank you" is about 15 years late, but it comes from the heart. Dr. Kagaoan is more than a cardiologist--she is an angel in a lab coat. I am forever grateful
