I can't say enough positive things about Hartford. I brought my elder parents on vacation from Texas to visit the beautiful fall foliage & before our return flight, my father needed emergency care. He had an emergent open heart surgery & we stayed in Connecticut for a month. Every single one of the staff was wonderful, starting from the valet staff, to the front desk, the nurses, patient care advocates, mid-level providers, managers, and our wonderful surgeon, Dr Ali. I was keeping track of names to say thank you but there are too many of you. Thank you all for being so welcoming, caring, kind, accommodating, competent & for saving my father's life. We are forever grateful. May God bless you all.

All of the staff were great and I do mean ALL of the staff I interacted with. They explained everything clearly and as thoroughly as I needed. Dr Ali certainly made me feel at ease - as much as possible - about having bypass surgery. Hopefully, it all goes well. Follow-up...I made it. Everything went well - I wish I remembered names but in all honesty they were all great. The staff that visited while I was in the hospital walked and talked me through everything and they were kind and patient. Follow up was great. I don't have a single complaint..

Dr Ali saved my life! 5 stars! I am on the mend and had a follow up with the Dr.who originally saw me when I was transported to Bachus Hospital. He informed me that the prognosis was not good. My family was informed that I would not make it. Dr Ali must have reviewed my file and requested I be transported to Hartford Hospital. I was told the decision had been made that any attempts to save my life was futile at best. Dr Ali I am assuming decided it was worth a try. 60 days later I am home and getting stronger everyday. I feel my life was saved by the decision of one man and I am at a loss on how to convey the level of appreciation I will always have that I Dr Ali is present at this point in history. Not sure if he will see this but I wanted you to know how much appreciation I will always have. It has reminded me how precious a gift life is and I plan to make the most out of this second chance. Thank you Dr. Ali and his entire team at Hartford Hospital.

For the first time over 40 years ago, since Sloan Kettering Hospital in Manhattan, I feel like I am in confident, caring, knowledgeable hands. Dr. Ali and his team, Brigette,Nicole, Bob,Meghan,Jessi... Just to name a few of the team. Everybody is on the ball, nice and very patient. I am hearing impaired. They never make me feel stupid. They have no problem repeating themselves and making 100% sure I understand what they're saying and what it means. This is the best doctor's group ever.

Dr Ali saved my life!!! Emergency triple bypass. As staff and all the nurses were amazing. It was a unexpected heart heart attack that came out of nowhere I was brought to Hartford hospital by ambulance that morning. Hartford Hospital should be commended for what they do!!! I have two daughters and I probably wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Dr. Ali... words cannot express my gratitude the entire staff was amazing and I am very grateful to be here. David Najam.
