Disha Mascarenhas, M.D., is a staff physician with Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group.Dr. Mascarenhas earned her medical degree from the American University of Antigua and completed a Western Reserve Health Education Family Medicine residency at Trumbull Regional Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio. In addition to experience as a clinical instructor of family and community medicine, she has also served as a volunteer physician at the Dadhich Hospital Outpatient Clinic in Mumbai, India.Dr. Mascarenhas is a member of the American Association of Family Physicians, the American Board of Family Medicine, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Mascarenhas and her staff are wonderful, caring, and compassionate. I would give them 10 starts if I could. The one issue i have is that each time I call because I'm sick I'm told there are no appointments available and that I should go to a walk-in or wait days to be seen. I have a PCP so I don't have to go to a walk-in, not to mention it costs me considerably more to go to a walk-in. Trinity Health Of New England forces the doctors and their offices to have full bookings daily leaving now room for patients with an acute issue. An example of THONE putting profits before patients!
