About Dr. Ira D. Galin, MD
Dr. Ira Galin is a board certified cardiovascular specialist who received his medical degree from Boston University. He completed his internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. His clinical interests include valvular heart disease, heart failure, hypertension, lipid disorders, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and vascular disease. Dr. Galin is passionate about training the next generation of cardiologists and currently serves as the program director for the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Danbury Hospital.
