Connecticut Heart Group

I had two recent visit to the Connecticut Heart group in Branford CT and both times I was seen by Kristen and not only did she ease my mind about my heart she was is the coolest Doctor ever as she is very down to earth very professional and humor as well.I thought a positive review was well deserved as many people are quick to leave negative reviews wow not take the time with positive ones as well when you have a good experience. Thank You Kristen.

I'm giving a 1 star not because Dr. Kapoor is a poor doctor but because some of the staff is poor (some of them pretty unfriendly also). I had a sleep study done through Michelle at the Branford office and she never updated my new insurance in their system, so they ended up billing my old insurance and obviously, it was denied. Once I received the bill from CT Heart Group and realized the mistake, I sent in a copy of my new insurance card (front and back) with a note of explanation. The claims person again, sent the claim to the wrong insurance company, therefore it was denied. After i called the insurance company, I called CTHG. The man I spoke to tried to tell me they (my insurance company and they one he billed) were the same company (though they are not) and that my insurance might not pay for the bill because it was from 5 months ago (BS). Then, I tried to refill my blood pressure medicine and CVS called and said the office didn't authorize it. I called CTHG and the woman said she "DID authorize it yesterday, but oh look you need to make an appointment because it's been a year since your last. but I will put through the authorization again after we make an appointment". So, this lady thought it was ok to deny my prescription for my BLOOD PRESSURE because of an appointment and then lie (I called CVS and asked the reason they denied and they said I needed to make an appointment with doc) to my face. You would think that she would call and say "Mrs...I will authorize the script for this month but we need to make an appointment for you." Nope, no call...just me without my blood pressure medication for 2 days. Unreal!

My mom has had excellent care with CT heart group, with Dr. Ajoy Kapoor. All office staff were very helpful and patient with her, and Dr. Kapoor took time to go over her treatment and his recommnedations directly with her. She felt very cared for and as she says- "I will do all that Dr. Kapoor told me to do. " Thank you Dr. Kapoor and thank you all staff at CT heart group. Salma

I've been going there for a lot of years it's one of the best heart doctors ever a really good doctors

The office staff is very unprofessional and down right rude when calling to ask a question. Never will we go back to this office.
