Aurora Denver Cardiology Associates - Thornton

I was fortunate to have Dr Pacheco as my cardiologist.I have to say he was a great Dr, with a great bedside manner very caring and knew what he was doing and trusted him. Was very sorry to see him retire I was referred to Dr Pitts and what a big mistake that was. Coming from a caring Dr to one that could give a crap less was a joke. Your were lucky to have her give your 5 minutes on a good day After changing my medication I had problem with my blood pressure rising. After sending her a message explaining the situation I was told give it a week will a week went by I ended up in the ER with my blood pressure extremely high Was told to get back with my cardiologist, after numerous calls I ended up going to my primary to take over. With out a call back she ordered me a different prescription without even contacting me not knowing what was going on . After a week I get a call from her nurse wanted to know what was going on , and she would make it a priority to get back by the end of the day. 3 days later I've get a call back Needless to say I was done with her. Lost all my faith in her. No comparison to Dr Pacheco!!

My wife and I just left this office after an appointment and the treatment she received is the literal reason the younger generation does not seek medical care. She's been experiencing myriad symptoms for months, some for years, and was referred to a cardiologist by her PCP for "peace of mind" and then was further gaslit here. Dr. Crowley seemed to have made up his mind before he even saw my wife. We could hear him discussing family medical history outside the exam room along with my wife's age and other details. Upon entering the room he asked my wife how she was doing and what issues she was having, and his response when she said she was experiencing a lot of problems was "you're 22, what kind of problems could you have?" Not only is this unprofessional but it's tasteless and tone deaf. Young people experience problems, their age doesn't make them immune. And then to top it off he was dismissive of concerns over family medical history that aligns with current symptoms and his "treatment" was to return to her daily life and "keep her mind off of it." Because debilitating symptoms can just be ignored with a little elbow grease. Absolutely despicable treatment and absent of any respectable bedside manner. Dr. Crowley should be ashamed of his behavior and to call himself a medical professional. Because neither professionalism nor medicine were present in that room today.

I truly wish I would have read the reviews before coming here. I was referred here by the hospital for an AFIB episode. DR. Reynaria Pitts seems to not care about her patients. Very nonchalant and has a tone & body language that will make you feel like you are wasting her time and she is bothered by you. The last time I called having symptoms, they suggested I make an appointment so I made a same day appointment. A few hours later they called and said my doctor is leaving early. Clearly this isn't urgent to them because they didn't call back until about a week later to see if i still have symptoms. The staff at this office have never been able to give me an explanation on how the loop recorder works that they implanted into my chest. Each time I asked it was a different answer. The office is very non responsive and if they can't hear you they will hang up on you and not call back after waiting 2 hours on hold. At this point they just send all calls to voicemail. Lastly, I received clearance from DR Pitts for a new medication, but she never actually sent the letter to my prescribing doctor & I didn't find out till weeks later. But yet they still billed my insurance even though they can't follow through on what they said? Don't come here if you need real care.

Aurora Denver Cardiology staff and especially Dr Pacheco are very professional and friendly. The doctor always takes him time to listen and address any and all concerns you have. I have never felt rushed as I have in other doctors offices. It had been 2+ years since I had last been in to the office, yet Dr Pacheco remembered my health history and asked me about my family, he even remembered my grand daughter's name. I was truly amazed!! I have never experienced such a thing with other doctors. The office staff shows the same friendliness no matter how hectic it can get. They will go the extra mile to provide quality service. Thank you Aurora Denver Cardiology.

I was a bit early for my appointment, but they took me right away. As always, the staff was very friendly and helpful there in the office. They are always so nice! Doctor Petrina is always very pleasant but straight to the point about what I need to do to make myself as healthy as I can be. I have always appreciated his honesty and direct approach. I have coming there for for 5 years and I am always satisfied that I am getting the absolute best care for my issues. As long as I follow his instructions, I feel great and it keeps me moving and doing my best!!
