Robert Shapiro, MD

I was extremely disappointed to be seeing Dr. Shapiro instead of my regular Dr whom I've been going to for many years, Dr. John Mc Neil. This appointment had been scheduled for many many months in advance and yet no one informed me that there would be a change of doctors nor was I given an opportunity to reschedule with Dr. McNeil. I was disappointed in Dr. Shapiro's demeanor and his lack of thoroughness. I felt that I was given choices about my future medical care when what I needed was advice. I remain very displeased about this appointment.

This guy misdiagnosed my sister and if she had not seen another doctor could have had serious consequences. He missed three complications and is a hack. Go someplace else, does not provide safe information.

Dr. Shapiro was very professional and cheerful in view of my concerns the high BP readings. His ease of communication helped me better comprehend what the next step would be.

Doctor Shapiro is an excellent doctor. The Boulder Heart office was very good explaining my bill. All the payment went smoothly.

He listens well and tries to figure out things. You never feel rushed. He is a young doctor with an old fashioned approach. We need more like him. He always validates your concerns and takes you seriously. His nurse and other staff were excellent.
