Children's Hospital Colorado South Campus, Highlands Ranch

We have had care several times at the south campus, but I will never use the ER ever again. I brought my son in tonight after he fell today and smacked his head this morning, he was having double vision and blurred vision. I talked to the team at the main campus and they sent a note down to the south campus to let them know we were coming. We were checked in a a reasonable time frame and were listed as emergency as we were concerned about head trauma but then we waited close to 3.5 hours before we got seen. Once my son's name was called, the nurse didn't even bother to double check his name and birthday and as we walked back before we even saw someone the team was talking about doing a vision test. I understood why once they explained but not right when we first were brought back. The nurse didn't give her name or anything...my son has high functioning ASD as it is so this whole process was already hard to be dealing with on top of his head trauma. Once we got in a room we waited another 30 minutes before anyone came in to see him. He was NOT given a head CT but was given a EKG and that vision test. The doctor was nice but this is not the first time we have been to Childrens for a concussion and the care we got for his concussion at the main hospital vs the care we got tonight at the south campus is completely night and day. I brought my child in cause he was having double and blurred vision and was told it's just a syncope episode and a mild concussion but with no CT done I have to hope we don't end up with more issues. All our care is through Childrens for both my kids, but tonight it really bothered me how we went from an emergency case to a "urgent care" case and the caring just didn't seem there.

Nurse Tayelyn was wonderful in planning for our visit and making my son feel comfortable during his appt for his blood pressure monitor. We are grateful to have such personalized care so close! The south campus team is always very warm and welcoming. My kiddos feel very relaxed coming in for appt

We were stressed about our kid surgery, they were very helpful, my kid 12 years old was very nervous too, they were very attentive, informative, and I can't say enough good things about Dr. Julia Sanders. Our kid is walking like nothing happened, no pain, we are very grateful. Thank you so much.

Children's hospital south campus in Colorado was amazing for my son. From the doctors, to the nurses to the hospital staff. Everyone was so pleasant and really cared about my son's health as well as how myself and my husband/his dad were doing. The only reason I took a star away was the cafe wasn't open much which was a bummer for myself and my husband. There are a lot of food choices right across the street so my husband and I did that mostly. We had a great experience overall and I would definitely recommend them to any of my friends for their kids.

My daughter had to go in for her ankle and she was treated with kindness and respect. We were not rushed. We were listened to, and they took the appropriate steps that needed to be done.
