San Juan Health Partners Family and Specialty Medicine

This was my first visit with a new provider and it was a very positive experience. The young medical tech who got all my vitals was very friendly and professional. He later gave me a vaccination that didn't hurt at all. Dr. Clarkenson was very friendly and relaxed. He didn't seem rushed and was quite content to listen to my questions. The front office person was also very friendly. I would highly recommend this medical office to anyone seeking good medical care and a positive experience where you feel like they really care.

Check-in and check-out are efficient. Appointments are always on time. My provider, Cara Caldwell, NP, is super. I never feel rushed, she listens to all my problems and offers practical solutions. She's always open and friendly and has a great bedside manner. I was also a patient of Dr. Suzanne Ciotti, and my husband was a patient of Dr Jay Ciotti, when they were with Cottonwood Holistic Family Medicine. They provided the same excellent care.

Great! Staff is great! Labs right there. Cara the NP is SO great too. Listens, cares, and treats you with so much kindness. No more dealing with Mercy and the run around you get. This is how going to the doc should be! Never had to wait. Meds refilled w/o delay or question, and appt's super convenient.

I love my provider (PA Jonti Fox) but will be switching to a different facility. After a heavy snowstorm, I called the office to let them know I'd be arriving late due to road conditions. The receptionist seemed to have a personal vendetta, stating I could only come if I could be there in five minutes. After trying to drive safe, I arrived 7 minutes late. I rushed in and she informs me I missed the window and needed to reschedule. As they know, I drive over from Mancos (as many people drive over an hour for care) so it's totally unacceptable to tell someone they can come in over the phone and then decline them once arrived. Don't make people rush to get there and not accept them when you said you would, it encourages erratic driving. I'll be looking for a facility that can communicate clearly and be able to make accommodations when weather is a factor. It's a shame as I truly believe that the receptionist was looking to make it more difficult than working with me and my circumstances.

Dr Jay Ciotti has been my doctor for many years. He always takes the time to listen and work out plans for my health. He is a very nice man too. He never is the do it my way or else type of doctor, but a doctor who works with you to come up with the best solutions to your health. At San Juan Health Partners, the staff is very nice and helpful too. A terrific place!
