Being young, I didn't plan to have a cardiologist, but after a stroke in the spring, I needed one. I feel so blessed I found Dr. Mertens! She is genuinely caring and has sought out everything within her scope to figure out the cause of my stroke, which I am not sure all cardiologists would have done.

Although I had to wait, as seems normal for cardiologists, they never rushed to get me out. They listened and patiently addressed all of my questions and concerns. They also do great work!

Be ready to pay arm and a leg FOR NOTHING!!! I'm so pissed. I was told to come back when I wasn't pregnant. Billed $449. Avoid this business. I was having fainting spells and got an appointment made before I was pregnant didn't have anything for 4 months...by the time I went I was pregnant and told they could do nothing for me. I literally went in and a nurse checked my vitals and I talked to the doctor for less than 5 minutes yo let me know he can't do anything right now. Imagine my surprise when I saw this bill??

My cardiology team is the best! They calm me when I call in a panic with questions, they address all my issues seriously, and they're very friendly. Most knowledgeable team I've ever experienced, if you have complicated heart problems I recommend them 1000%

called at 4:58 to make an appt. woman told me they were about to close, I said that's why I called before you did. she hung up on me and then at 5:00 their phones don't get answered. Terrible service!
