One Medical Primary Care Clinic - Arvada

This location is somewhat different from other One Medical locations. Though the front office staff was great, the NP (Melissa) who treated me was considerably less than genial. She seemed quite focused on being completely in charge , based on body language and tone. My dealings with cardiologists and surgeons have been much more friendly and engaging.

This used to be the best medical practice I ever experienced as a patient and my PCP there was also the best I ever had. But Amazon has completely destroyed it. My doctor is no longer there. When I tried to find out what other doctors I could choose from, I discovered that ALL of the doctors are gone. The only person listed in the provider list is a Nurse Practitioner. I choose my doctors very carefully because I have complex medical needs and I need a doctor who understands this and works with me on my goal of optimal health. There has been zero communication about what is supposed to happen with me going forward. I found a new doctor at a different practice. This is atrocious care. Amazon is treating us like a commodity rather than human beings who need medical care. Edited to add, in response to the owner's response to me - I did call. I spent a LONG time on hold, twice, and was told someone would call me by the end of the business day the next day. Nobody ever called. I'm guessing because there's no one left there to make any calls.

After reading other positive reviews I realized that I would have agreed before One Medical took over. Since then it's difficult to get an appointment in a timely manner, voice messages are not answered and the wait time on the phone is ridiculous...I called multiple times over a week to schedule an appointment and the average time in the queue before even getting to speak to someone was 15-20 minutes. I am considering changing clinics. Very frustrating and disappointing changes have been made and the personal touch is gone. Update: it has been a week and no changes or contact from them.

The staff at One Medical Seniors in Arvada Colorado, is wonderful. From the moment we walk in the front door until we leave, someone is watching out for us, answering questions and making us feel welcome. Our medical challenges are being attended to as well as our emotional challenges as we delve further into what the stage of Senior Life is all about! I compare it to the beauty of the dandelion as it prepares for the end of life.

Very caring and knowledgeable. It's always a good experience. No waiting, make appointments on the spot for the next visit, questions about something different than what you are being seen for are quickly researched and answered. Texting the office with concerns prompts response inside of an hour. They don't screw up calling in prescriptions.
